Brandon - Bro,, really?? 9:10 and you're telling around a million ppl that China holds 2.262t of physical gold?? Bro, c'on. Every man and his dog knows full well that China holds between 32.000 and 40.000 Tons of the Yellow metal. My sources: Jim Rickards - 8 years consultant at the White House during the planning stage for 'Currency Wars'. Alasdair McCloud (Merchant Banker since the dawn of time), Andrew McGuire - international trader and whistle blower to the UK Government and finally Andy Shecktman CEO Miles Franklin and possibly the most aware American on the planet.. much of this gold is classified as Military Assets - so is not required to be reported, plenty is held by the populous in special accounts (meaning the ppl paid - but the PRC hold first title.) . Not only that but for months now China have been paying double market rates for silver dory. Shipping it back from everywhere and anywhere to be refined in China. Now where else this gets interesting - and you didn't pick up on is: WHO IS GOING TO REVALUE GOLD? BRICS - or the ailing country that needs $36T+ to even balance it's books.. The smart money is on a figure around $40.000 per ounce. so that gets Donald off the hook - but then China holds an unassailable position of financial power.

It's the stupid corrupt Government leaders in non-white countries that keep using the white man's money as a reserve currency instead of creating a reserve currency that is owned and controlled by all countries equally. They are the reason why white people keep getting richer while other races remain poor. They need the white man's money, USD, EUR, etc., to develop their countries which keeps them in an inferior position to the white man because they can never become as rich and powerful as the white man while using the white man's money. You can never have more USD and EUR than the people who print/create it.

Theres a reason why smaller countries like SA don’t mind trading and working with Russia. Remember Khadafi? Well he wanted to make an African Union with its own currency and lets just say countries like France who have been and are exploiting Africa and sucking it dry don’t like that. France especially with the CFA systems fan control old colonies and slowly suck resources out and if they dont play along well they get squeezed with sanctions and when that doesnt work then france applies military pressure as it occupies all these countries. The US does that globally and without china and Russia having nuclear deterrents the US would just come and on and threaten to invade if they dont comply… of course they never do it directly, like Irak they’ll make something up, invade and then burry the truth… their allies will follow cause they are complicit and of there are retaliations like 911 they’ll spin that into more excuses to invade more countries. I mean everyone across the world knows Bush lied about Irak to invade and yet there are no repercussion… they want to take Putin to international court for Ukraine bur Bush just got away with it… I remember my history teacher saying « never forget history is written by the victors » in other words those who have power get to dictate the narratives and the truth… well that might as well have never existed

Brazil hasn't been a major US trade partner for years. We had the first CBDC, the Brazilian Real. We can literally ditch the dollar overnight if we want, since the US only represents about 4% of our trade. Trading with China is much better, since they don't patronize us or use debt to push their greedy agendas.

One aspect I think you missed is the return of all those dollars to the US. As they ditch the dollar, that currency is going to flood back, potentially creating hyper inflation in the US. Only one or two outlets have spoken about this - Peter Schiff has continually warned of it.

    • @Narx9
      @Narx9 15 дней назад

Incorrect. They won't just dump the US dollar. They will spend it. They will use it to buy gold and other assets. This will temporarily increase the global USD economy like a stimulus. It will only get a bad hit if they then stop using the US currency entirely. But if they keep doing trade with the USA and SWIFT economies using both the BRICS system and the established swift western system then we still won't see a big impact. Only when they entirely ditch the SWIFT system will we see a ripple. And most countries like India and Brazil won't do that. As they will play both sides to their advantage. China likely can't even ditch the USD anytime soon. They've been trying for decades but still it make sup 60%+ of the backing behind their currency.

Oil from Saudi and other countries is no longer priced in dollars but local currencies. The major hit on the dollar is not coming from countries ending trading in dollars but selling off their US financial assets like Treasuries. This reduces the market for these assets that the US Treasury must find buyers for to fund its debt and if there are fewer buyer they have to offer higher interest rates that increases the interest payments on that , currently stand near 1one trillion dollars annually. It is not just BRICS countries that are moving out of the dollar but European ones and other US allies like Japan and South Korea who see that holding in US debt there is is a high a risk of default and they are also removing their gold reserves held by the Fed. This trend has been accelerated by Trump's threat of sanctions against any country that stops using the dollar but with the Global South countries able to trade in their own currencies via BRICS and borrow from the BRICS Development Bank and repay in their own currency rather than in dollars from the World Bank they are ra[idly switching to BRICS and it will not be reversed whatever Trump thinks he can do. Even EU countries like France want to join BRICS and London already trades Yuan and has done for some years.

People in hell want ice water, good luck. The USD is predominant cuz the US is basically a bank with the largest military on the planet and nuclear weapons. The only way the world reserve currency would change is if fundamental confidence in the US military's ability to maintain economic stability goes away. No other country has the same network of economic, social and military relationships that the US has and is able to exploit.
Xi has tried to shake things up with the BRI but that's been an unimpressive failure to date and hasn't allowed China to accrue the kind of international economic and military relationships needed to energize their economy, let alone their client states (all of which hate China's usurious conditions for their economic support). China's economy is itself moribund due to its central planning and overreliance on real estate and EV overproduction.
Russia has proven itself to be comically incompetent economically and militarily. Putin's setting himself up to either eat a bullet or be defenestrated himself.
India will be wrestling with trying to bring it's own population under control and into the 21st century for decades before it has a realistic chance to exert anything beyond regional influence.
      Brazil is a basket case.
Iran is a regional power at best, even with nuclear weapons, and neither it nor any arab country will be able to exert anything beyond border-level military influence for the forseeable future. The iran-iraq war was like two blindfolded one-armed epileptics duking it out in a burlap sack. They'll never exert any influence outside the middle east.

BRICS wants to build a new currency. It is also worth noting that gold has historically been used as a store of value and a means of exchange, and some countries still hold significant amounts of gold in their reserves. However, it is unclear how a new currency backed by gold would function in the current global financial system and whether it would gain widespread acceptance. Ultimately, any decision to create a new currency would be subiect to numerous economic, political, and logistical considerations.

It's interesting to learn more about the discussions and proposals around BRICS nations and their potential use of gold. There are several reasons why people may choose to buy gold, including its historical use as a store of value and means of exchange, its potential as a hedge against inflation or currency devaluation, and its relative scarcity compared to other commodities. Additionally, gold can offer diversification benefits to investment portfolios, as it tends to have a low correlation with other asset classes like stocks and bonds. However, it's important to note that investing in gold carries risks and may not be suitable for evervone. and investors should carefully consider their investment objectives, risk tolerance, and financial situation before making any decisions.

Not all artifacts in the London History Museum (LHM) were stolen. Many were bought legitimately or were gifted.
The LHM is centered in a global city and is free to enter. This allows millions of people to see these artifacts and learn from the histories and cultures they represent. The LHM also does a fantastic job preserving them.
There are questionable cases, like the Greek Marbles, where items were shipped there for "restoration and safe keeping" and were never returned. It's grey because these pieces would likely have been destroyed and completely lost to time. But at the same time, they can now be displayed safely at the Athens Acropolis Museum.
Also, the Rosetta Stone. The French uncovered it by accident, but they handed it to the British as part of a surrender deal. This stone was later used at the LHM to decipher ancient Egyptian hieroglyphics and, as a result, is potentially the most significant archeological find in history. Should the LHS be allowed to keep it? After all, if they didn't find it, it would've just been another stone hidden in desert sands and Egyptian hieroglyphics would still just be doodles on ruins.
Now, i get the "principle" of returning items back to their historical home. But if that means it goes back to a place where it may be damaged, kept hidden in an oligarch's store room, or even sold on the black market.. is that right?

As an Egyptian who is living abroad, I see how much relying on the dollar for all international transactions can be dangerous. Simply put the dollar is too EXPENSIVE for us. (We don’t have any problem with the us gouvernment, we don’t have any sanctions, oh contrary, usa provides us with a generous military aid every year).
We need to import plenty of needed resources from other countries other than the US. Like Russia for wheat to make bread. There is no reason to make that specific transection in us dollar. It’s just too expensive and why should we?
We have plenty of debt to pay already in us dollars and every quarter the government is scrambling to be able to pay back the debt in dollars to the IMF and our economy is tanking, devaluating our currency and becoming poorer everyday.

when we become so electronic-based it seems odd that stated currency is so important. but being the conduit to transact the currency does make it relevant, I suppose... but the chinese/russian trade is primarily in yuan. the brics pay card is supported by disappearing ruble and endangered yuan. their lucky buy-in was UAE. not saying an alternate to USD/Swift is bad, but the players at the table are mostly holding Monopoly money.
