Georgie is exactly the kind of father I'd want for my kid. Always joking around and being a really nice dude but also extremely responsible. He didn't run away, he stepped up and took full responsibility, all while being a lighthearted bloke

You have to be quite an oversensitive person with no humor to feel offended when your baby’s father is just being lighthearted and playing around with your nursing bra that you got as a baby shower gift.

Mandy did have a point when she said "You come in at the last minute with a store bought castle cake and you think thats gonna make up for everything". Audrey deserted her when Mandy needed her the most, Mandy can't just drop that, the Coopers have been more help than Audrey ever has

It's about time Mandy stood up for Georgie. Who buys a princess cake for a 30yr adult's baby shower? Mandy's mom still spittin' nails at the people who supported her daughter when she wouldn't. I'm glad Mandy told her mother the truth. Now that I have a little insight into the relationship Mandy has w/her mother I think she is afraid of becoming like her mother which is why she was tried pushing Georgie away. When he gave her the gift, we see she was touched by the gestured. .BTW, that cake looks like a desperate, not cute if not a little pervy, the castles look like penises.😅 JS.

Im glad she spoke u for Georgie. He may be young, naive and socially immature but sometimes it takes that to know what the right thing to do is. People who arent socially mature are likely to not be swayed by the herd/mob. The right thing to do is the hardest because it goes against the herd and what they need and want
So Georgie has a strong character - he doesn't care about what people think especially enough to stop him doing whats right and moral
So Audrey still wouldn't let go of her controlling nature towards her daughter...
I see her being the type of grandmother who throws her daughter aside, claims the baby as her own, and sue for custody.

What a coincidence that's what my father does. My father is a control freak and he wants respect as if it was candy to him. Forget on-and-off relationship the relationship between me and my father was always off. The relationship with my dad did not age like wine in fact it aged like milk. It's like it started out fresh and then it turns sour. I promise everybody that not even a restraining order can put my father away from me. And yet the only person who seems to have a more Mutual understanding of all this is my stepmother has she been like a second mom to me. Why is it that moms are so easy to talk to you when they are not self-centered like Mandy's mom? I can tell one thing about my future is that I'm going to get myself a wife I'm going to have three kids in my life and my father is never going to be part of their lives because the only grandparents that will ever be in my kids lives is my mother, my stepfather, my mother-in-law and my father-in-law. No offense to my stepmother but if she interferes with my kids lives that's most likely going to give my father a chance to interfere as well and before you know it it goes into chaos. Metaphorically speaking my stepmother would be the Trojan Horse we already know what happened to Troy when the Greeks destroyed it

When George Sr said "poor bastard" I was with him on that, jim seems to be a good, down to earth, loveable guy. But is easily dominated by his wife, which is some marriages thats kinda how it is.
I've noticed it's like that in quite a few sitcoms & probably also in real life.

Jim seems like a really cool guy & Will Sasso seems like a cool atotr, despite I only saw him in Beverly Hills Ninja where he had a small role & some Mad TV skits, including 1 of my favorites where he plays an angry rageful employer who every time he got hurt was calm & nice.
If you've never watched that skit...

Hey Georgie may be....okay is a goofball but loving and responsible goofball who will make a great dad and hopefully a great husband for Mandy.
Mandy’s mom is my favorite character to hate. She steps in to help at the last minute and trash talks Georgie too, saying that he wouldn’t make a good father, but a small part of me can’t blame her because she just shut Mandy out of her and her husbands life since she got pregnant so she doesn’t know what it’s been like for Mandy and how great Georgie was to her and might I add she pulled her husband down with her and he was pretty open to Mandy’s pregnancy and was nice too

I love that Mandy points out the cake because in the episode Georgie's mom says she's going to make a German chocolate cake. So the smug look she makes when Mandy's ranting makes sense.

It's not wrath and bitchiness... To me she is right... She didn't keep Georgie to herself didn't complain for him to do everything for her... Rather took as much as she can on herself so that he can still enjoy his youth fall in love....
