+Aisha Begum Not at all.... It's your choice, Add 2" for proper fitting, 3" for comfort fit, 4" loose fit & so on..... & keep in mind I add Ease Allowance & than I divide measurement by 4 😊

Hi I make the skirt in a full or half circle, I like the way you put the elastic but I an not a fan of maxi A line, I circle skirts cover the curvy waist to bottom part of my body?Thank you for your tutorial they are really inspiring and easy to follow.RegardsNtsiki
The measurement that were shown at the beginning is confusing. The measurement for the hip shows:( hip+2 ease)/4 But in under my measurement column, it is taken as : hip+7ease)/4. Which one is correct?
you use the hip measurement, since its a pull on skirt. It needs to fit over your hips, otherwise it will need a zipper. The excess fabric will be gathered by your waist elastic, which is cut to your waist measurement minus 2 inches.
