@@kutu3029 Your ability to cherry pick out of context is truly remarkable. You have the exact qualifications for joining the Western Mainstream Media. It's honestly really pathetic.
Have you educed yourself on why that verse came out and which "Disbelievers" is that verse talking about?
Because, by your logic, all the 1.8 Billion Muslims should be coming at non-Muslims killing them and forcing them into converting. And if that was the case, you wouldn't have existed today.
Stop being spoonfed by the Media and your ignorant Islamophobes.
Educate yourself from authentic Islamic sources on the context of that verse.
Also in case you didn't know:
Quran (60:8) Allah does not forbid you from those who do not fight you because of religion and do not expel you from your homes - from being righteous toward them and acting justly toward them. Indeed, Allah loves those who act justly.

@@muslimfundamentalist1410 lmao that last verse u quoted has been abrogated by the following
Quran, 3.56"As to those who reject faith, I will punish them with terrible agony in this world and in the Hereafter, nor will they have anyone to help."
      and this one
Quran 3.151"Soon shall We cast terror into the hearts of the Unbelievers, for that they joined companions with Allah, for which He had sent no authority".
      and this one
Quran 8.12"(Remember) when your Lord inspired the angels... "I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them"
      and this one
Quran 8.39"And fight with them until there is no more fitna (disorder, unbelief) and religion is all for Allah"
      and this one
Quran 9,29 "Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued."
These are some of the OVER 100 verses preaching hatred and killing of non believers or non muslims. In fact over 70% of ur Quran is devoted to killing of non muslims.
As the Quran shows, not by my logic, as soon as the muslim forces r strong enough, or they have the numbers in a country, they will start changing the laws and start imtroducing sharia laws, eventually turning the country into an Islamic country. This is the aim of Islam in West.

@@kutu3029 "lmao that last verse u quoted has been abrogated by the following"
"Abrogated"? What an Astonishing and astonding claim.
You do realize what you're saying right? I made sure to quote a definitive verse that applies to all periodes. And that is according to all of the of Mainstream Islamic scholars. So according to you, all the Islamic scholars in the entire Islamic history have somehow misunderstood that verse, and you somehow have more authority than they do on Islamic literature? Seriously a genuin friendly advice, stop being a sheep and stop following your ignorant Islamophobes that make a career by deceiving you like sheep and making money out of you on Patreon.
Then you proceed to highlight the most cherry picked quotes without even reading their surrounding verses and their context. A farrago of distortions, misrepresentations.
Let me answer you why those verses came out:
At the time the Arabian Peninsula was in crisis. The tribal system was breaking down, and the various tribes were locked into a murderous cycle of vendetta and counter vendetta. For a weak tribe, or a man who lacked powerful protection, survival was nearly impossible. The Prophet himself suffered several assassination attempts, and when his religious and social message ran him afoul of the establishment of Mecca, the small Muslim community was persecuted. Things got so bad that the Muslims had to migrate to Medina, some 250 miles to the north, and there they were subject to attack by the Meccan army, the greatest power in Arabia.
For about five years, there was war and the Muslims narrowly escaped extermination. Terrible things were done on both sides. But when Muhammad sensed that the tide had just begun turn in his favor, he completely changed tack. He concentrated on building a peaceful coalition of tribes, and initiated an inspired, brave and ingenious policy of non-violence. This proved so successful that eventually Mecca opened its gates to the Muslims voluntarily, without a single drop of blood being shed.
Because the Qu'ran was revealed in the context of an all-out war, several passages deal with the conduct of armed conflict. Warfare was a desperate business in Arabia. An Arab chieftain was not expected to take prisoners; it was a given that he would simply kill everybody he could get his hands on. Muhammad knew that if the Muslims were defeated they would all be slaughtered to the last man or woman.
Sometimes the Qu'ran seems to have imbibed this spirit. Muslims are ordered by God to “slay [the enemy] wherever you find them. (4:89). Muslim extremists like Bin Laden like to quote these verses, but they do so selectively, never quoting the exhortations to peace and forbearance that in almost every case mitigate these ferocious injunctions in the verses immediately following. Thus “If they leave you alone and offer to make peace with you, God does not allow you to harm them.” (4:90)
Therefore the only war condoned by the Qu'ran is a war of self-defense. "Warfare is an awesome evil" (2:217), but sometimes it is necessary to fight in order to bring the kind of persecution suffered by the Muslims to an end [2:217] or to preserve decent values [22:40]. But Muslims may never initiate hostilities, and aggression is forbidden by God [2:190] While the fighting continues, Muslims must dedicate themselves wholly to the war in order to bring things back to normal as quickly as possible, but the second the enemy sues for peace, hostilities must cease. [2:192]
"These are some of the OVER 100 verses preaching hatred and killing of non believers or non muslims. In fact over 70% of ur Quran is devoted to killing of non muslims."
Really? From where did you get that number? Get your head of your "..." and read the Quran by yourself. Then you'll find out the 99% of the verses that actually promote peace, love, kindness, righteousness, Justice, truthfulness and goodness that are overshadowed by your "VIolent" verses.
"start imtroducing sharia laws, eventually turning the country into an Islamic country. This is the aim of Islam in West."
Hearing this from a Westener truly makes me sick. Remember that you are the one who started slavery, bombed their homeland, colonized the middle east and terrorized their homeland (Just like how you created ISIS by bombing Iraq). But Muslims are humble enough and don't stereotype you. So open your eyes for once.
Seriously, stop being a bigot, and try giving them a chance for once.
Have you ever met a Muslim? Statistics show that 60%+ of Islamophobes have never met a Muslim. Trust that Muslim when he tells you that his religion is not a religion of war and wants to show you the true peaceful message of the Quran, not the Al Qaeda. Then you may start accepting them. And don't let the media control you, all they want is to create hate. Peace.

+gary wersley -good points but there are many different nationalities, cultures and ethnic groups besides saudi wahabis -and many that oppose
or be considered heretical from the saudis-who also bring islamically proscribed atrocities upon their own neighboring nonbelievers, apostates or heretics.
many defend islam by cleverly distracting us from the Hadith by proclaiming that there was no violence in the Quran (which is a book of instruction),while the Hadith actually describes how the prophet himself carried out the Quranic instructions- by terrorism, tribal genocide, slavery and his invasive occupational wars of conquest.
this is what set in motion the longest ruling imperial colonial power in the middle east-the caliphate.
fact is jihadist armies attacked christian european lands (and zoroastrian and braman and jewish and hindu lands) spanning the 2 centuries prior to the crusades which stopped or at least blunted it.

Either they accept secular values on their own intellect ether by force. One thing is certain they can not be stupid AND flourish ….Thats impossible not because of the west but because of nature.

Allah is the Creator. He is not created. Allah existed ever and He will exist for ever.
Almighty Allah has mentioned many signs in Qur'an proving His existence.
    For example:
    EXPANDING UNIVERSE.
    IN HOLY QUR'AN
    ALMIGHTY ALLAH THE MASTER CREATOR
Who can claim 1350 years ago that the universe is expanding?
والسماء بنينها بايد و انا لموسعون o
" And the heaven We built it with power, and indeed, We are the expander "
(And We it is Who make the vast extent, thereof )
    (Qur'an, 51:47)
Until 1931, physicist Albert Einstein believed that the universe was static. An urban legend attributes this change of perspective to when American astronomer Edwin Hubble showed Einstein his observations of redshift in the light emitted by far away nebulae - today known as galaxies.
After Hubble discovered that the universe was expanding, Einstein called the cosmological constant his "greatest blunder."
At around the same time, larger telescopes were being built that were able to accurately measure the spectra, or the intensity of light as a function of wavelength, of faint objects.
It is clearly mentioned in Holy Qur'an :
" And the heaven We constructed with power, and indeed, We are the expander "
    (Qur'an, 51:47)
Almighty Allah is the Master Creator of the whole universe. He says:
Should He not know what He created? And He is the Subtile, the Aware.
The knowledge of scientists is very limited and poor to understand the universe!!
But theirs constant efforts to understand the universe is highly admirable and they are praiseworthy indeed.

We must reject this ridiculous notion that only western actions are responsible and recognize the elephant in the room: Islamic teachings and scriptures that are predominately responsible. Islam by its very nature and intent when it was conceived was to be radical.
“People of faith are far too eager to distance themselves from extremists in their community, often denying that religious violence has any religious motivation whatsoever. This is especially true of Muslims…” - Resa Aslan

Are you disagreeing with what Resa Alsan has stated? Granted; im no scholar, but he is. Check yourself. Also, the wording of this motion is shady and too broad to have a serious debate over. This is typically biased content. If you cannot be honest, even in the face of your deepest convictions, then you're already on unequal footing.

Now what? Perhaps you'll say I didn't understand the debate or this deep issue in general? Perhaps you'll fall back on the usual tired and old retorts like 'You're biased because you're in the west, you're misinformed, you're secular, immoral... ? The question "Is the west to blame for Islamic extremism" is overly generalized, myopic and unsophisticated.
