Fantastic video... I have been on the holy grail quest for the perfect colour corrector. I'm roughly your shade, but mac find it impossible to match me. I'm mostly nc43 if that existed. Would you recommend balanced or rise I'd want to wear a sheer/light coverage or even a tinted moisturiser. I don't really like wearing foundation but can have crazy dark circles. Glad to see a British Asian promoting products that I can use 😍

Does this under the foundation make ur foundation more orangey? I just bought mine today in balance can’t wait to use it!!! Also wanna use that cheek blush technique with the palms 😀

What what the light color you dabbed as a concealer after the hue stick?
Have you tried illamasqua oramge multi corrector its quite similar but its not in a stick honeslty ive had that for like no joke 20 or more years and i still use it and it thr same one and it make your dark cirlcles appear as if you dont have non. Its a rrally great product but i think its more of a corrector to me than a all over thing. But i have got my eye on this one in rise or balance looks ideal if your going away amd just need 1 item to do all things which is great im doing makeup clear out so i will now start using vegan products on my skin you gave a lovely review and the stick is perfect Thank you

Hi Simran! Thank you for the informative video and tips! I have been looking at this brand for a while now and am interested in purchasing one of the huesticks. I'm having a really difficult time choosing my shade however. I mostly want to cover up my undereye circles which are a very dark reddish purple with some very faint blue. My skintone is very pale, warm and olive-toned. What color would you suggest in my case? I was looking at rise or balance.
Hi! I think you will love the formula of these. If you are trying to colour correct and have a similar skin tone to me both balance and rise would look great! If I was to choose between the 2 I would go for balance because I tend to wear more corals so I know I can get more use out of that colour. If you are fair skinned you might feel the same and go for balance because it would look really pretty on fair skin with olive undertone and it would work well as a colour corrector xo

Thanks for another great video! Unfortunately we don't get this brand where I live, do you have an alternate recommendation for color correction? Also, what's your shade in the marc Jacobs bronzer? I love how it looks on you and I am your exact same shade somewhere between NC40-42 depending on the season :) Also, you are so incredibly pretty! and have such sparkly eyes! ^^
Thank you so much for your kind words! I would suggest the LA Girl concealer in Orange if you can get this. Affordable and amazing consistency for colour correction. Any orange toned creams are good because they are thick enough to cover and also stay in place! I use the Marc Jacobs bronzer in 102 Tantric. I love that it's similar to my skin tone but just a tad warmer that it looks so natural! xoxo

Hi! The product isn't ultra log wearing but also doesn't wipe off the lips easily. I find it has good staying power. I have to reapply after eating a few times of course but still the staying power is good! its like a dryer creamy texture so not completely matte but not too creamy! I hope that makes sense! xoxo

I got this but it isn’t working for me under eye at all? What foundation shade you are in Mac? I am NC 40, I don’t have like dark dark under eye but after using this my under eye looks orangy and grey mix.
What is your process? I am between NC40-NC42. It might be you are using a lighter/neutral concealer? Honestly if you don't have super dark undereyes and its something like mine I LOVE the NC42 pro longwear concealer from MAC. It it warm enough to colour correct and yellow enough to brighten and still looks natural. I have a concealer video coming soon so keep an eye out for that! I don't usually colour correct because I don't personally need it all the time but I got a lot of requests on how I use this product. Let me know your process and I can help you! xo
@@SimSagoo I applied the way you demo in the video. I actually got it because your complexion looks very close to mine. I did return the huestick though. Tired of wasting money and products. I am actually not used to wearing concealer regularly as I wear tinted moisturizers and very sheer application.
@@shweta9978 I fully get you! Well done you for returning it and saving money! A lot of people don't bother. Ah that's interesting. I never wear tinted moisturisers but I use concealer alone at times only in the areas I need. Not over the whole face like how you see on social media! xo
