I just bought one of these metal detectors because I got $25 off. When I get some more money I'll probably get a Nokta Legend or maybe a Minelab or something like that. What setting do you have your Gordon on?
After years of detecting with several decent machines. This Gordon ranks top. For the money, what else could one wish for? It works well, easy on the battery, and light weight. Has many special features. Lighted display Pin pointer and many more features found on much more expensive machines. I now have two Gordon's. That's how I rate it. I got two. After I find out if it can be immersed in water, then I'll see how goode it "really" is.
@@rickylakemusic Yeah. That's what I'd like to know, too. I'm thinking about getting it as my first metal detector but I want to make sure that it's waterproof or submersible first.
Oh you mean how some machines automatically cut out iron. The Gordon must be operator assisted that's true. The Gordon tries to tell me what the object is by a series of three tones. High, mid and low. Until I learn my machine enough to tell when it's trash or not. Haha !I'm getting there. I still get fooled all the time. Cause I need more alone time with my machine.
Your target retrieval practices are horrible. Never ever carry a shovel if you're detecting a park or school. Use an old fashion brass coin probe as your primary tool, with a trowel as a back up for deeper or larger targets tucked away in your bag. ruclips.net/video/pTdD0Gdrmx4/видео.html
Yes, me mum described me retrieval practices the exact same way. did ye know me muvvah as you seem very spot on. Thank you for enjoying my simple videos and i'm glad you found me page. Keep em swangin! Love ya, mean it. RL

I have tried all the settings. Right now mine is in jewelry mode.
@@rickylakemusic Okay thanks.
Hey dude. Give THAT GORDON an honest try. You will be happy and satisfied. I promise.
@@rickylakemusic I hope so.
What pin pointer are you going to use?
Where are you going to try out your machine?
What would you rate this metal detector?

Only way to find out is to get it wet.
I used flex seal on my HF nine function.
@@rickylakemusic It doesn't say on the outside of the box?
@luigiprovencher8888 it DOES READ "10 inch Waterproof Coil"

Not so much with gold unless you off the discrimination.
Cool
You are cool! 😎
Have you found anything gold yet?
I wish! You good folks will know about it when I finally do find some gold or silver.
"FYI" one of the three (cents) found in the same hole was a dime. I cain't see goode.
Sweet bonus
Yeah, wish my eyes were as good as the Gordon.
Yeah ithe detector was giving a high tone and also a lower tone letting me know of two different targets.
You can't spell good, either. 😂
Lol but there called pennies as well
Too right!

One gold ring away from a payday.
Without a built in discriminator ... you will be digging up more junk than not....
