I dated a member of this sorority for two years and she was very secretive about anything I’d ask about the organization. Often times it was met with anger and frustration others with sorrow and regret. I believe every single word you’re saying.
The other test is to determine if your organization is an idol in your life? Where is the majority of your time, talent, and heart at? Holy Spirit revealed a simple test for me. Took out some paper and made two columns one for God and one for the org. Just started listing the activities I was doing for both. The column for the org had way more activity under it than Gods column. That’s where a majority of my time and talent was going. Not to mention the community service projects were being done in the name of the org and the frat got the glory not God? People wake up! God does not play with having other gods/idols in your life!

What I do NOT understand is the part about "I am my sister's keeper". There are many pastors and preachers who are D9 members, well studied in theology, and know the bible intimately. D9 is certainly not for everyone, and that is fine. But just because you don't want to join doesn't mean it's bad for everyone.
