He has lost, or soon will lose, the confidence of the team's upper management. Whether the season itself is lost or not is a tougher call, and it may not able to be determined before the Bears get to their bye week. Most likely the ownership will simply let Nagy play out the rest of the season, then cut him (and possibly GM Pace) loose and start rebuilding around Fields in earnest for the 2022-23 season.

Evans is a selfless superstar reciever and team player who doesn't care about anything but winning. His history of sacrificing individual stats, so other elite weapons around him can produce, thereby becoming more difficult to defend as an offensive whole, is well documented and above reproach by now. Lmfao. At this point we've seen, over and over again, that ME13 doesn't even care if AB and Gronk, (who are blatantly Brady's two favorite targets, when healthy, and historically his right and left hand men) outshine him statistically, or in terms of their general performance in high leverage moments. even though he, himself, is technically the WR1. and those guys are both new to the team. Mike Evans literally doesn't care about anything but winning, and only wants to help contribute to that.
Not to mention, this past offseason, he personally stepped in and took a huge paycut, which he didn't have to do. When GM Jason Licht didn't have enough flexibility or cap space to make the necessary moves. And Evans did that *specifically* so the team could keep it's championship core together, which lets not forget included resigning (again Brady's favorite targets) Antonio Brown and Gronk, not to mention keeping Chris Godwin, his direct competition for targets, and listed WR2 guy. Lenny Fournette, another skill position player with a history of getting tons of touches. And bringing on passcatching back Gio Bernard from free agency. Among many many other big roster moves. Lmfao. So yeah, People keep inventing this idea that Mike is somehow unhappy or not productive, this year. Usually to manufacture some type of fictional drama in the buccs locker room. When that's straight up completely fabricated, and made up. Substantiated by literally nothing at all. Lmfao. We've consistently seen & heard, over and over again, from Mike Evans that all he cares about is winning and team success. His actions also back that up. And *plus* the entire narrative that he hasn't been good this year, or isn't getting fed is complete nonsense as well. Lmfao. Evans, Godwin, and AB are all within a handful of targets, yards, and catches of each other. They're quite literally *all* on-pace to have over 1000 yards receiving. And they all even have similar amounts of TD catches now as well lmfao. Brady is obviously spreading the wealth because that makes the offense as difficult to defend as possible, and thus the Buccaneers as difficult to beat as possible. Hence why they're casually 6-1, without even having played that well. And despite countless injured players, on both sides of the ball. Including key pieces like AB and Gronk, not to mention virtually every CB on the team. Which, yea. All of whom should be back for the playoffs. Meaning the bucs are dominating the league, as expected, fine and Mike Evans is getting exactly what he wants.

Nagy giving up playcalling merely moved the offensive performance needle from "underperforming" to "OK-ish". Now the Bears are sitting at 3-4 and get a bye in two weeks; at that point they will have a very important decision to make: try to bolster the lineup and fight for a winning record, or write off the rest of the season and start the rebuilding process now. How their record looks at that point (3-6, 4-5 or 5-4) will be a big factor in what they ultimately decide to do...

Justin Fields is not a pro QB. He's slow to read and too quick to deliver. Defenses are going to have easy pix.
