This was the first piece I listened to, upon hearing of his death. Harold Budd was a master. He is dead, but listen. He lives.

We got that crap all day yesterday. That'd be the middle of March Madness in Minnesota! After a gorgeous wkend, first time I've seen more than 20 ppl, all together hanging out in over a year.
If you don't like the weather in Minnesota ☝🏻 just wait a minute.

4:33 am en Ciudad de México, el frío se cuela por la ventana, pero la música es bella

Perfect song to read the subjective forms of the clouds and to follow with a tender eye the grooves of the stems of the trees; appreciate the complex writing of the nested branches, taste the colors of the decomposition of light into water droplets in a garden, and strongly feel the wet soil of ancestral forest to perceive the traces of animals from deep past

Harold Budd always manages to slow down my whole body. It's phenomenal to hear and feel the silence between the sound, so profound and otherworldly. On the one hand it is flawless ambient music, but it could also be named classical music. So inspiring and calming. For everyone interested in Harold Budd, I recommend his piece 'Haru Spring' and his LP 'The Pavillon of Dreams'.

Wonderful. Who is performing? Where and in what medium was the recording made? (Is it old enough to be on an LP?) Thank you for posting.
