Some of the worst cameramen here, can't keep it together, not even fit for these like the wser 2021, and utmb cameramen.

As someone who was out filming. I can honestly say we had some world class athletes out on course that were more than capable of keeping up. But when it comes down to it, filming in this capacity is incredibly difficult. You have to run and carry all the equipment and try and cover 14 miles worth of course with 12 people and multiple races

Watch when they follow Joe Gray going down the hill. 5-6:00 pace. Can't keep it together???? LOL

@@jimoconnor8597 thanks!! And honestly faster I think. I was the one who followed the women’s leader through that downhill. And I split 5:08 and 5:20 pace for another half mile. It was really out of control.

As the director that assembled, advised and came away incredibly humbled and proud of every member on this follow cam (and whole production) team … I’d ask you to have a little more tolerance and gratitude with our production. This is a very different race than WSER100/UTMB. Do we have areas to improve across the whole production? Yes. That starts directly with me. Will we hit those improvements? Hell, yes. Do we have the some of the worst cameramen? Undoubtedly, no. Everyone of them were fantastic and gave their all. Please don’t be the guy that tears things down … let’s keep a positive community and build things up because this sport is pushing into an exciting direction and one of its CORE ethos is supporting each other, so let’s live those ethos.
