Great haul for $5! I went to a fill-a-bag library book sale once and the ladies gave me a little attitude about fitting so many books into a bag. I was like, give me a break! I'm buying them for my students! :)

The cedar box was very old possible late 30s
After puberty, it’s rarely necessary to wash your hair every day. It dries out your hair. At 60, I wash my hair about once a week and it’s still really dry.
I waited 1.5 weeks and mine was still dry. Used to use conditioning hair masks. Wondering if brushing hair 100 strokes works (as they used to do in vintage times). lol

Those little mini chairs are so adorable!
That Santa is the type of decorations they used for cake decorations back in the 60's. Every holiday or seasonal, birthday had decorations on a tooth pick.
Madewell is a quality brand, hence the name. That blouse was a great find. 👍

Those mini peacock chairs (it was by the blue squeaky pig in the toys) sell really well for me. People put little succulent plants on them...

The glued tea cups on saucers I believe are bird feeders you hang from a tree.

Older panty hose loses the stretch at the top and gets sticky. But old knee highs can be used at the end of the wash machine hose to catch lint so it doesn't go into the sink drain.

Rummage sales in the USA always seem so calm and quiet! I have stopped going to what we call jumble sales in the UK as they became so combative! Seriously, it is a real do or dare to try and grab any thing here! Groups of people arrive together and one grabs ALL the clothes, another grabs ALL the toys and so on and then they go to the outside or to an empty area and go through everything at their leisure ensuring that they get to pick all the best items. Now I steer clear!

Sounds like the Goodwill Outlet I go to . There is a large group of people from Africa who do that , and they are there evey day all day . I don't let them intimidate me , but I also will not line up for a go at the new bins they roll out every hour . I wait until the feeding frenzy stops .
