I used to know someone who worked in meat packing. Apparently a good chunk of that company's profit came from figuring out how to add salt water to the meats to make a significant percentage of the mass near worthless brine. As time goes on, I'm finding that that's one of the more 'ethical' ways to stretch meat profits.
You can see through this by checking the grams of protein per serving on the label. The expensive deli meats will have higher protein values per gram-serving than the cheaper stuff.
You'd be surprised that most banned ingredients don't post a hazard to human health at all, but instead are environmental hazards. Stuff like rBST has no noticeable impact on humans, but may have long-term impacts on cows. That said, fewer cows can produce more milk with rBST which reduces methane emissions. Nobody's right or wrong, rather it's a balancing act.
Gremmi...is an experience xD Well, EU is very, very strict with what they import hnnn but they do import food from LATAM, and normally, something that would be very cheap in Latam is insanely expensive in EU. Like...fruit. xD
Unironically the British have done good food like beans on toast. You can’t just raw dog it now that’s when it’s garbahe but crispy bread with creamy beans and a lil bit of cheese with it, now if you ask me that’ll get me hankering
I think, that we in Europe have higher MC Donalds Quality Food for Sure xD Well, we have in our Supermarkets US Weeks, but I think, that the Food isnt Imported from the US, its rather made in the EU
Sounds like Florida sucks ass, and trust me, you really do want to discover what snow is like. It’s cold and soft and fun and you can make all kinds of things with it and it turns the outside into a beautiful white dreamscape for days, weeks, or months at the time depending on the location. There’s even some places with eternal snow! But in most places it melts and all the plants burried in it thaw and the trees start carefully blossoming and everything smells fresh. I fucking love snow
Florida Man here, been in the Midwest for five years now. You aren't missing anything. Snow was great when I visited family up here as a kid, but when you actually need to get stuff done it's hell. Wake up at least half an hour early to dig your car out and scrape the ice off, then pray that the county was on top of salting the roads. If they weren't, your commute just doubled because you're gonna have to crawl. If they were, you're still not done because now your undercarriage has a x10 bonus to its rusting speed. Don't bother washing it, it'll be back tomorrow, just remember to get to it the instant the weather warms up. And it doesn't end with the car, because as a fellow swamp creature you're not ready for the dryness. The humidity in the forecast doesn't tell it all either: The amount of moisture air can hold rises with temperature, so when it's cold out there is NO WATER in the air. It doesn't care though, it's not all that thirsty. Until it hits your skin. That -10° air was at 30% humidity, but now you've warmed it with body heat and it's at 0.3%, sucking all the moisture it can get from you like a goddamn vampire. You will need to bathe in lotion daily. I think that's enough ranting, so I'll spare the details on having to gear up like you're going to war every time your dog wants a walk in the Winter. Everybody up here says they'd rather be cold than hot. Don't believe their lies. There's a reason so many of them move to Cali, Texas, and Florida when they're not tied down by family.
