if RL ferdinand was in the game, It would be nigh indestructible at the same tier, only it would break down after driving it for more than a minute. I wonder why WG doesn't buff the upper armor of the Ferdinand to resemble the strenght it used to have in the old days when IS3 and T29 where still awesome in WOT.
Bigger problem is armor pen indicator than power creeping itself.
Nowadays noobs just aim towards green dot

@Thunder-54321 T29 got a gun nerf to the main 105mm. Now it's considered better to play the 90mm with gold
it moves like a snail unless you got a turbo, the 105s dispersion is horrible and the reload is a snooze. Now you gold spam with the 90mm to have fun in it @@Thunder-54321
3:30 No, QB, armor does not become "a lot" better with 7° of angling. It goes from 300mm to (300/cos(7°)=) 302mm.
Which Wargaming article did you get that formula from? It could be right, but I feel like it can't be that simple.

Not knowing your gun caliber is hard to know if you can overmatched or not like for example my O-HO using a derp gun it says 150mm gun but it actually 149.1mm caliber that means it can only overmatched 49mm armor

The reason the Japanese TD's arr so good is the guns are phenomenal for the calibre and alpha. Add in the decent armour and mobility and I see a nerf in a few years...

If u play on console swap to cold war era 3 tanks I'm making on average 200 to 400 thousand credits a match

The line is great besides the tier 8 imo, the tier 7 had great armour and gun with decent mobility, so you could go infront and bully everyone, but the tier 8 has no armour really, so i found i had to sit back a lot more, which worked but it felt weirdly out of place in a way. Makes sense though as the prem tier 8 for this line is way better than the tech tree one lol
The tier VII Chi-To SP is the most powerful vehicle of its tier, more than the E25. The traverse speed is excellent.
the Ho-Ri 1 in War Thunder has better gun depression because the roof moves when you depress the gun

I had the DickerMax as a rental from HandOfBlood i persume wich kept me away from any German triangles.
It is a good TD with nice vision, alpha and gun depression, nothing like the Ferdinand line.
@@etm8539I object, why was it then turned into the Elefant; watch some ConeOfArc, he who found the Tonk.
In real life that japanese tank destroyer only existed in blueprints and it had a 105mm and sluggish armmor so the Ferdinand in real life would be a better option however this is a WG game and they cant balance their game making a tank feel competitive and real at the same time
Hi QB! Can you please ask around why the matchmaker at low tiers is so stupid? It keeps tank types and also classes in one team. So as an example Tier 4. In one team 10 lights + 5 TDs, in the other 10 meds + 5 TDs.... Guess what 5 Matildas do with the lights... I suppose WG is albe to divide as number by 2 as they should have computers at hand... ;)
Hey QB, have u tried the cold war matches on WOT Console? Its crazy imagine everyone plays like a light tank and most health bars are larger than the maus. It's on another lvl there's missiles, lots of spaced armor, auto cannons everywhere . The combat is faced paced aggressive and fluid. The weasel towe is annoying tbh it's the new arty in cold war
I know it’s a hot take but you could just drop the ferd a tier and give it the VK 100 Ps gun with a worse reload or something

id rather call the ho ri 1 a ferdinand that went to the gym lol. the ho ri 1 is a bit slimmer and not so bulky plus it packs a heavier punch

Play light armored tanks, you wont mind getting hit by gold. In exchange, you get an agile tank and a lot of the times, it comes with a good gun. Try Leopard 1 or Centurion lines.

Well it's a fictional TD or at best a blueprint of one, so that's why it has no soul. Most German armor has been proven to work in actual battle.
It doesnt work on some maps.
