It's not the bike its physics. The guy on the h2 is about 70lbs heavier. If they were equal body weight the h2 walks away easily. Bodyweight means everything in racing.
There was nothing impressive about what happened here lol. Zx10r needed full bolt ons to mostly match a 100% stock h2. H2 with just the muffler removed made a big difference. A completely stock h2 with just a tune to remove a ton of restrictions would have easily walked the zx10r. Also the rider on the h2 was considerably heavier. He was 245lbs while the zx10r rider was roughly 160lbs. That's a huge weight advantage when it comes to these bikes and just further shows how impressive a stock untuned h2 is.
Disaster646 I'm 5'8" and 150. And I've always been categorized as "average" or "medium" in every single height to weight chart I ever saw. I think your guess a bit off.
Stage 2 supercharger kit from brocks, ECU flash and slip-on exhaust on the h2. That H2 would walk all other liter bikes with similar mods. Removing the stock exhaust allowed the exhaust to flow more freely. All the stock exhaust does is meet emissions and noise compliances. It does so by restricting the flow of the exhaust.
I think everyone is missing the point. Even with a rider weighing 90lbs more, look how much faster the H2 got just by removing the stock muffler. That means it gained a lot of power, once again proving it's easy to get power out of a boosted engine. What other power awaits with the H2?

So this 10R even if it's not flashed still makes a good 180+rwhp H2 I stock form makes 200+rwhp at top. H2 weighs more and 10r is lighter. OK, this is NOT a stock 160 hp ZX10R. And yes, giving up that much extra rider weight is a serious penalty. Have the riders switch bikes, the stock H2 with the lighter rider will smoke that built ZX10R. The H2 stock is about 200 hp at the wheel. Add an exhaust and have Don Guhl re-flash the ECU and you will be at 240+ rear wheel hp.
HEKTIC458 The riders' weight difference was 90 lbs. It's like attaching 550 lbs to one car in a drag race. Makes a huge difference. I believe if the riders had been switched or even similar weight riders, the H2 would have been far out front.

That dude is so big he makes the h2 look like a 600
There was a company that made supercharger kits for the 10r.. would love to get one for mine.. almost turbo’d my 14 but then I asked myself... whyyyyy??😂😂😂😵
Instead of a 32 bit computer for sport bikes why not put a AMD RYZEN 7000 CPU AND GPU INSTEAD? And implant the body of the bike w/ some Electroluminescent strips that change color for speed and blink for turn signals.
Seems like their is some heated discussion about the results of this test trial so I thought I would throw in my two cents. Firstly, there are a lot of incorrect facts/specs about the H2 (street version) which seem to be flowing around. Primarily, that by simply flashing the ECU one can almost convert it to the H2R and in reality this is not the case. The main brains are serialized by Kawasaki and must be ordered using this number and the VIN. Ie; Kawi is trying to prevent people overriding their system with diagnostics and other software/programmers. Additionally, those commenting about 100 lbs rider weight disparity are absolutely correct as 1 hp Is equivalent to roughly 6 lbs of weight depending on climate, altitude, fuel mixture, down force etc. It also appears that rider ability factored in on this particular race as the zx10R rider displayed superior ability. The H2 is also considerably heavier in and of itself. Bottom line, way heaver rider (with reduced ability) and significantly heavier bike do not counter the nominal increase of around 15 - 20 hp depending on what the zx10R would dyno in at with the mods. Cheers.
This just shows how impressive a regular ol' liter bike really is. Crazy how the zx10r was closing the gap at the end, did not expect that.

It's obvius that the H2 is in another category of superbikes, let's see the 2016 ZX10 to really know which bike would win, I bet the H2 sure
That 2011 on up zx10 probably putting 180-185 rear wheel HP those bikes are beast trust me I have one I have a 2011 with a 75$ Archer ecu flash and a yoshimura slip on put 181 rear wheel HP only way to beat a Kawasaki is with another Kawasaki
Look the rider waight 😂on H2 looks like khali 🤣
Let us not detract from the fact that that H2 and all its rider glory got nowhere with the ZX10R, I hope 650 IB looks at this video... After his nobody can beat him and his H2 comment...ZX10R is packing properly..I'm impressed...
That dude is so big he makes the h2 look like a 600
I like Kawasaki ninja
luv them bikes 😢
Zx10r is in budget and so powerful
But H2 is❤️
There was a company that made supercharger kits for the 10r.. would love to get one for mine.. almost turbo’d my 14 but then I asked myself... whyyyyy??😂😂😂😵
They put of the H2 exhaust Lol 🤣
Man had it been a little longer we would have seen big brother get beat up by baby brother.
Hm, the H2 failed to impress me. I was expecting alot more out of it.
When 2 brothers are play
Instead of a 32 bit computer for sport bikes why not put a AMD RYZEN 7000 CPU AND GPU INSTEAD?
And implant the body of the bike w/ some Electroluminescent strips that change color for speed and blink for turn signals.
isnt the h2r the insane one..? i didnt know they were both boosted
foxxrider250r Both are boosted, difference is H2R is for track only.
Kawasaki is a monster
Cheers.
Dude really 175? I used to get 160 out my 04 triumph 600 how you only 175 on a litre bike
What does the bolt means😯
The claimed speeds don't align with the videos. In the last run, the XZ 10 was pulling on the H2 at the finish line, yet the H2 was 1 mph faster?
The H2 has a kickass design, but it looks tiny.
Looks tiny in front of a giant.
how comes gen4 is so fast?
Think about cameraman 😂
Rider on h2 was a giant.., rider on zx was a decent weight/height, he had the advantage....
Classic #ridermod needed here. Swap those too guys and it would be the same rider winning by a larger margin.
H2🔥💪🏻🥰🥰🥰🥰 my dream bike
10r sound 🔥
H2 is always King in road legal versos 👍
wow thats similar speed as the 918 posted a few days ago
For the money, ZX10 w/bolt on's !
na zx10r and boosted h2 make the same power. so why double the cost?
