You don’t respond to comments, but you want someone to come to prime and use your driver code so you can line your pockets selfish mf, acting like you help
You inspire me @Rex✊✊👊
Don’t ya just love the roads in Jackson Ms, makes ya feel like a bronco bull rider lol I’m loading tomorrow in Michigan headed to Tomah for a Saturday delivery… but going to the Walmart DC .
Love your vids Rex. Keep em coming please 💪🏼
Off for a week. Gotta get back in the groove again 😂! The grind and routine. Glad the move went smoothly and the place is good and the car is set. Family is doing well. Start grinding and smiling and making turns.
Rex I was wondering Do they take hair test or not?? And if they Don’t I’ll Be there next month to start orientation
It’s a urine test NOT hair

@@donttruckhere Thank you for the kind words, hope you have a great day! 🤙✌️
dude, can the special effects, please
Rex, that intro is pimp! You've definitely stepped up your editing game. Keep up the grind and be safe out there.
I just found your channel and I’m catching up on the old ones, I live in MS!
Watching you pass through my city
I often hear truckers trying to justify why they stopped. If you’re tired that’s enough reason. Get that sleep and be safe and alert for you and for everyone.
Hey Rex, glad the move was successful and that your car was fixed! I liked the editing that you did! Can't wait for the next video!
Never had any clue there was so much edible and inedible eggs...chicken fat and glycerine.
Love your videos and content, sir.
Do they have tanker work on the East Coast or is it Midwest and out?
They have lots of east coast 🤙✌️
If that little screen on the dash keeps flashing the yellow screen? You'll be heading home soon. Stupid computer mumbo jumbo! At least they caught it at the shipper and fixed it.
With that driver side floor mat. I always use throw away rugs. Too often step in grease, oil, wtf ever. Pitch it and get under the bunk or in the side box. Done!
Get on with Oakley hauling scrap and other stuff.. You would like it.
Rex they need rails on that ladder going on top of the trailer that shit is dangerous you could reach nothing there fall and and hurt yourself.
Really like watching your videos, i also haul a tanker hauling milk from dairies to milk processing plants
Hi Rex tale care of you on all yiur ways, Greetings from germany Ralf
❤ your back wootwoot !! love you bunches ❤Aunt Rhona, elpaso TX
Funny you mention overloaded this week… my shipper overloaded my Sunday load by almost 3k net. When I saw it had 47,940 net, I knew there was no way I’d be able to take it. Hit their scale and was 1840 over gross. Thankfully the Monday loaded was already ready to hook and take.
Should have went to the DMV in Republic you almost never have a wait. And they are much nicer then the ones in Springfield
Agreed, went to that one to renew my tags on my vehicle in and out in 5min!
Watch your vids from Detroit brother thanks for all the info don’t let these haters get to u bro safe travels 💪🏼🙏🏼
Very clean truck Very good 🎉
Like how organized you keep your truck rex, everything has its place, very impressive. Safe travels, and keep the vids coming.
What’s that editing software you’re using, to make the changes, when you were on the scale?
imovie
Ahhhhhh shit Rex got some floor coverage 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 looks good bro
That petro has a great buffet
be careful with that purple power it will take dye and paint off of material it's really harsh stuff
Thanks for the tip!
As a lease driver do you have to do your taxes as if you’re self employed?
Yes or have a CPA handle that and just send in your receipts etc
Dig those interior bed led night lights on ur semi Rex.
You keep your truck spotless 💯💪🏽
Rex, Do you get paid for waiting time?
Tank washes no! Shippers and receivers yes after 2-4hrs
Did you're truck trans fixed
Yes freightliner replaced transmission seal 🤙✌️
Hey bud I really wanna drive and currently live in Florida. I’m looking for paid training and it’s hard to find a company. Any ideas?
Prime inc. Or Wilson logistics both in Springfield MO, they'll bus you in and put you in a hotel and feed you and pay you. Don't think about it, just do it
@@MrBigezee69 Are you serious? I’ve tried to get in contact with both companies about training but I never heard anything about being bussed in to MO. Do you happen to have a recruiters number or anyone I can talk to about this
@@pevveroni3752 Yes, very serious. Google search "wilson logistics paid training" I did it 2 years ago and enjoyed it. I am no longer with wilson but am a local driver with another company here in Sarasota FL.
Love your content Rex, wish you success, stay safe
Yo wats up rex
im finding it hard finding a job here in toronto. everyone wants 1 or 2 years experience. but nobody wants to hire newly licensed drivers. now im stuck :( idk what to do.
Those Atkins Cholotes will give you the WORST gas you ever had!!! be careful not to run yourself out the truck! lol🤣😂🤣😂
Hey Rex, any tips for someone just starting out and about to get their own truck? Thanks in advance. Keep on Truckin.
hey i appreciate being able to learn from ur experiences thanks
It's 2 bucks in Monett to have my medical card scanned. It's annoying not being able to do it online.
Usaly Yiu can email a copy to the dmv
@stevo6891 right now I’m detoxing on fruits and vegetables. While still staying active. Nothing crazy
Dang y’all deadhead a lot
Yeah a lot of deadheading this year vs last year since freight is lighter! But still making 💰 that’s all that matters to me at the end of the day! 🤙✌️
@@truckingwithrex What’s the rates your getting? Per mile?
At Tomah do you park in a angle or straight back to be unloaded because of the slope? I got a appointment there Monday but gonna try to see if I can unload Sunday
Park it at an angle! If they have room they’ll let you unload early + they have over night parking!
how many states do you travel per 6 months
tennessee we can fax it or email it
Hope this isn’t dumb… When you fill up your truck with fuel does the pump auto stop like with a car or do you have closely watch it?
Works the same.
I’m getting my permit so I can drive with prime
I used your driver code they not taking any Florida drivers at this time. But thank you for motivating me to get my CDL.
I dont think theyre taking anyone if Im being honest
Try Wilson Logistics in Springfield MO, I believe their still taking students and have basically the same program as Prime INc. Wilson hauls exclusively Prime inc Reefer freight
@@MrBigezee69will do thank you
@@MrBigezee69 Wilson told me no just 2 weeks ago but I think some companies are getting restrictive on areas
@@CynicallyObnoxious that's interesting for sure. thanks for the info. I would say that is a good indicator of the trucking market. For as long as i knew trucking companies couldn't sign up students fast enough.
Do you know if there's alot of loads out of tx,and does prime have any terminals there
Not on the tanker side, no terminals in Texas
15:54 lol that’s Tennessee 😂
Leaving flatbed to drive for a company KAG has aquired to haul food grade freight. Worried about driving liquid freight. How does the tanker handle on the highway in particular faster curves and also how does the automatic transmission working with the surge?
I haul milk and i when you are fully loaded only time I full the surge is stopping or going downhill. However not a full tank you feel it a lot more. Our automatics suck with milk but we also run permitted runs daily. 100k to 110k gross weight.
@@king0nyoutube change of plans for me lol! I went on an in person interview with Hansen and Adkins and got some of my questions answered, I’m going car hauling!!!!!! Home daily and I can make more money. The impending strike worries me but it can’t last forever. Home daily is a winner for me. I can also do a Sunday or Saturday load.
Great video Are you going to do Flatbed soon Rex??
I like tankers 🤙✌️
😎👍
Nice, wanted to do tank at Prime but they wouldn’t let me. Reefer or flatbed. I wasn’t happy in reefer so let soon after I got my CDL. What’s the benefit of doing inedible over food grade?
May I ask why they didn't let you do tanker at Prime?
@@nicolewilliams5573 I live in Florida; at the time (Fall 2021) they wouldn’t hire for tanker out of Florida. They only offered reefer and flatbed.
When you dead head does it pay the same as being loaded? Enjoy the content great job keep it up. Be safe ✌️
The key word is dead.
You get paid for both but the loaded miles pay 💰
Hey Rex! where did you get the blue water jug you use?
I’ve seen them at Walmart
Yep Walmart in the camping section
Forest MS??
Yes
I’m in my TNT phase now with prime!! Just curious how long do you normally stay out on the road?
Took me 100 day to complete TNT! It’s rough but stick it out, you’ll be glad you did! 🤙✌️
If you're talking about how long you should stay out to make money...as long as you can. If the wheels aren't turning, you're literally losing money (Rex will tell you his lowest week thus far was NEGATIVE -1200 due to taking 1 week off but still needing to make a truck pmt). If you're talking about how long training is, then you already know that.
@@jayson1270appreciate the response yeah I was talking about once you upgrade and your running your own truck how long you stay out for but definitely understand what your saying makes sense!!
@@Ealonso_96 as a for instance. Back when I got my CDL w/ TMC Jan of 2019, they were advertising 55k (gross)/year for new drivers. I made 87k gross my first year w/ TMC because I stayed out each weekend. So roughly a 22k difference and to be fair, I slowed down after 6 months of running HARD. Had I stayed running as hard as I did for the entire 12 months, I would have been closer to 100k as a brand new company driver...but I'm not 23 anymore. I was avg 3303mi/week at 62mph.
Rex thats an odd tire because most tractors run 10 tires meaning 2 per each side on the drive axles and of course singles on the steer tires . its the first time ive seen single tires on the drive axles .
They’re called super singles, and they’ve been around for a long time now. Generally they’re more fuel efficient than duals. But more expensive than a standard single. For very large fleets like Prime Inc, it can make sense to equip their trucks with them; the fuel savings would be considerable.
They are called super singles drive tires
Some states you can fax a copy of dot physical card to DMV
Rex who puts $ in your tire fund
The main thing that makes them more expensive is when you get a blow out since it's one wheel per corner it often time messes up wheel on pavment cause you to get new tire and wheel. Also super singles are harder to get ahold of in some shops if you need road side assistance
Kinda curious, what is inedible egg and who is using it?
It’s used to make dog food and treats. Comes out of chicken plants.
