I learned what happened to the towers from my mom in 2009 because she flew over New York City two days after the attacks because she was flying from Atlanta to Ottawa, where I live now. She could see the smoke rising all the way in the air and the smoke seen from hundreds of miles away. It was really sad and I wish I was alive before the twin towers collapsed.
