My family loves that pistachio pudding dessert I make for family dinners. It's so fluffy and light. 1 reg size box jello instant pistachio punning, 1 small cah (1/2 cup?) crushed pineapple with juice, about 2 cups miniature marshmallows, I like a bit more, and 1 regular size container cool whip. Mix dry pudding and pineapple until well blended, fold in marshmallows and cool whip and chill for at least 2 hours.

I'm in love! I came across a video of you making lasagna the other day and have been hooked since! I made your hot water cornbread yesterday...which was delicious, and today I'm going to whip up your chicken and dumplings. I can't wait to hit up the grocery store with my revised shopping list. Even one of my teenage sons noticed me watching and came up to me yesterday to say "Soooo mom, when are you making that lasagna!" Thanks Chris!!!

👋🏻 Hello friend! I just discovered this recipe and it is so simple and delicious! I’ve made it with sugar free pudding and light cool whip and it’s just as good. You can not tell the difference. Also I’ve taken angel food cake (both regular and sugar free) and diced it up and mixed it in and it adds a little extra. Really great recipe, great dessert! Thanks for sharing my dear! ❤️💜💚

I just went to the grocery store to get everything to make this. Got home and left the bag that contained the milk. Good thing the store is about a mile away. So, I whipped it up in a jiffy, only bad thing I can see about this....having to wait the 4 hours. It will be about 1:00 a.m. before it is ready to eat. But that's okay, I'm a nite-owl. Can't wait. I'll post again after I dig in. Thanks for sharing ~

Thank you ma'am!!! I have 6 children under 12yo. We all love pineapple 🍍. I sound like a horrid mother... But this is going to be breakfast with waffers tomorrow morning. My kids don't like heavy breakfasts. Light and yummy. It's healthier then donuts or cold pizza. Pineapple is nice. Cool whip has barely any sugar. Pudding mix.. Well let you kid eat a yogurt cup and there us more sugar in that per serving. I don't feed my kids pop tarts, toaster struddles, or pancakes/wafdels covered in high fructose corn syrup. This desert is actually pretty low in sugar by the time it's divide. 🥰

Hi Chris, I am making this right now. I wanted to clarify. In your video you said 1/4 cup of milk. But on your ingredients say 1/2 cup. I just want to be sure which one is right. We LOVE your recipes! Thank you !
PS: It would be helpful to clarify that it is crushed pineapple in juice and not the syrup. I try to make things exactly the way you do and when at the store I was not sure which to buy so I bought both and came home and watched your video so I knew which one to use.

I made this with 3/4 cups of milk and I wonder if that is why it didn't look as thick as yours and also, only one small pouch of vanilla pudding mix in it. The rest I used 1 cup of cool whip and 1 can of crushed pineapple with juice. Can this be made more thick with a large pack of vanilla instant pudding instead of a small one and use 1/4 cup milk instead? Yours looked more thick and I left in in the fridge over night and still did not thicken up as much as I thought it would. (Also) the bible study didn't pan out that day so she didn't get to try it yet. I'd like to go with making it with less milk and more instant pudding mix to see if it makes it more thick like yours looked. Seems like it would make it look more thick and still taste and look good!

In the video you say use 1/4 cup milk and below your video you have 1/2 cup of milk. I'd go with the 1/4 of a cup of the milk. But if one used the larger box of vanilla pudding like you display, then 1/2 cup of milk would be good? Even though you say you'll use only half the box of it and all else make this as directed.
Thanks for replying to my question it is vary helpful and still tasty with that good pineapple added to the mixture.
