we are always welcome. culture, temple combining the nature, a warm smile, seasoning original khmer food, and cost less, here is Cambodia. if anyone want local guide's ideas or experiences in SR or PP, you can contact me whenever.
Very informative and impressive shots. I was there in late 1969 with my family as a young boy before the war erupted. There were no tourists or any guest houses around so we had to stay at buddhist temple near by. Only memory lives on. Enjoy and safe travels!
I visited Siem reap in 2015 for my school field trip and every moment in Cambodia is unforgettable. Love Cambodia! Really wanna visit Cambodia again after my college entrance exam on Nov. 🇰🇷🇰🇭
This was fantastic. I love that you didn’t overlay very much music. It felt like I was right there along with you. I’m heading to Angkor Wat sometime this week and this was a great primer. Thank you for sharing!
Thank you for showing our beautiful country to the world! Sending love from Cambodia! Hope you enjoy your time here! Keep up the great work! Stay Safe & have fun !!! :)
Fantastic. We went in December 2019 and absolutely loved it. (Went to temples at 7,30am each day to beat crowds and heat). I fell in love with Cambodia.
Thank you Jason for your video! I watched your video this morning while I was running on my treadmill. I have a 50 inch television in front of the treadmill that has the internet. The remote control even has a button for RUclips. Your images were really clear, bright and large on the television. Awesome video! Thank you! Thumbs up!
Great video Jason! I’m from US but were born in Cambodia. First Time i went to see Angkor Wat with my son back in January, 2018. I’m so proud of khmer Angkorians. How intelligent they were and built by hands and every inches of stones carved by hands !! Khmer’s arts. Absolutely beautiful, stunning!! I would love ❤️ to go back to see Angkor Wat again.
Beautiful!!! If I had chance to travel to another country, this would definitely be my first stop. It is amazing and I would like to see where Tomb Raider was filmed. I love Angelina Jolie's movies🙂🙂
Your sunrise images were amazing. Incredible to see...can't image seeing in person! I watched a mini National Geography documentary about Angkor last week and they said the temple grounds are about 420 square miles...it would encompass all the 5 borrows of New York City!!! I have been to NYC and still can't grasp the scale of it. Hope to visit Angkor in the near future.
I've been there twice and Angkor Watt never cease to amazed me... just two times of visit is not thorough enough, this place is full of rich culture and heritage......one of the most beautiful temple in the world built during ancient times.....
Angkor Wat is not 420sq. Miles it’s less than 2x2 miles and the Angkor civilization stretched from Thailand to Vietnam and int Laos so that was 1000’s of Sq. Miles . Not sure what you were suggesting.
Love good videos here. You remind me a little of myself when I was travelling in 2000. I don't think I have the same list of destinations as you and it was totally different without modern technology helping us along the way. I'm planning a 2 week trip to Cam next year.
I love this video!! It brought back memories of when I visited. You did a great job of showing these amazing temples, and no, the video is not to long. 😊
Excellent videography and narration. Provided a good glimpse of the immence size and age of the structures. An awesome Khmer culture that existed with epic engineering capability. As always, you produced another wonderful masterpiece, Jason.
I is true there are so many temple to visit you need to spend 2-3 days to visit all of them. It is looked quite different to 20 years ago that i had been to. Love your video from New Zealand.
Fabulous video Jason it has now become my guiding light for my eagerly awaited visit there, in six weeks time. Its by far the best photography and narration I have seen and heard ,I could feel the calm excitement and emotion in your voice.Keep on traveling brother.
I'm glad to see you showing our beautiful country to the world to know also nice to see you have a great journey in Siem Reap and thanks so much for coming here Jason
Angkor Wat is amazing. I last visited 4 years ago but every scene is etched into memory, I will never forget this place and this video gave me a much needed jolt of travel emotion.
Ankor Wat is simply a stunning experience. Especially if you hang around and bare the heat into the afternoon when the sun is at it's highest and late afternoon your photos will be amazing. Plus you get a more secluded visit to take it all in. And there is definitely no way of not sweating buckets hahaha......Siem Reap is a beautiful place cool vid.
I love your video, how you learn the history of the places and how you appreciate what is left of the place and what was once there. I think that’s what make traveling great, appreciate and not judge
Thank you for sharing! I enjoyed this one very much! I visit Siem Reap last April. It was hot and dry. There was almost no water in Srah Srang. I got a lot of beautiful pictures but your are more imaging. Next time, I will visit during this time.
I've visited the site several times but never seen the sunrise - stunning. The BBC produced a documentary on the Angkor Wat temple complex about 5 years ago and using airborne laser technology discovered that it was the first city in the world to have more than 1 million inhabitants - supported by a canal waterway system - over a thousand years ago.
Hi-! This is my first time to visit your youtube!! you’re video is really interesting!!! I had been living in Cambodia for 10months. and I’m in Cambodia for hoilday! I will go to Siem reap next week!!! Thanks!
Went there twice it’s absolutely impressive!! The only thing bothering me is the outrageous number of tourists coming in big groups.. cough cough.. chinese
Great videos here. I run a travel vlog channel as well. I'm just wondering what program you use to edit your video. I'm having some trouble uploading mine at the moment. Somehow RUclips turns my videos into pixelated or blocky screen on them. I really appreciate your tips. P.S I'm glad you went to Cambodia and enjoyed your trip there :)
I use iMovie. Whatever editing software you use, just convert it into the highest quality file possible first, and then upload it to RUclips. Do not upload directly to RUclips from the editing software, as some have this function but it decreases the quality. Good luck!
My heartiest greetings to the Cambodian people for so nicely maintaining the temple. People have to respect their history and where we come from. 🇰🇭🙏🙏🙏 I am from south India and historically, Cambodia was called Kamboojam in our mythological and historical books.
Hi Jason, great video. I will be coming to stay in Siem Reap at the end of January and will be staying for a few months. I will be doing some filming around Angkor Wat and will need to stay close-ish to the site. Is it easy to find monthly rentals (studio apartment for one) in Siem Reap?...Many thanks, hope you can help.
