  • climbing and removing a snapped out limb in a large messmate gumtree. a powerful storm recently swept through our area and in the course of 10 minutes left a path of destruction.

    what was that move at the end there? were you still on the redirect? really like how you could control your friction while changing trees without a second climbing system. more detail please, have a great day!

      I had just taken my redirect out and was using the tail of my line to belay myself off the other tree

    On the first release cut, you cut a piece and then the back cut was a couple inches below the pie centerline. Was this for an effect or because you were protecting your sling and said screw it with the pie cut?
