Don’t do it Paddy, these are rebranded Ali Express knives. The OEM will etch whatever name you want on it. They are not good, even at that price point. Please be careful not to get sucked into shilling bad products. I know you don’t know kitchen knives, and I don’t hold it against you at all, but this is not good. It may be the best kitchen knife you have used, but I assume you have not used that many. I have used and sharpened hundreds. These are bad. Take my word on it
@@swamp.stomper thanks pal appreciate that.ill do my usual tests then give my honest opinion.if it bad I will call it out I have no skin in the game other than a free knife.no other commitment.👍☘️🙏
@@paddyspotatopeelers2154thanks for the reply. Google Paudin Ali Express and you will see the same knife under many different names claiming different steels and design origins. The advertising is not honest. I think that counts against a company more than the quality of their goods
looks like a beautiful kitchen knife- I would love one like that
Hey Paddy ☘️
I like the Santoku pattern, super useful! 👌🏼
Nice review, I'll definitely check them out, buddy 😉
Thanks for sharing,
ATB Gus 👍🏻
Slicey dicey 😊
The brand and knife are on Amazon in the US, $29 dollars, 5Cr15Mov stainless steel, 56+ Rockwell hardness.👍
Great stuff Paddy! I have several Chef's knives and that looks great value for money. Just see if it retains the edge.!
Nice change too!
@@johndivit5869 I'll be using it this week then do review 👍☘️
If you cut the points off the bottom of the apple it will sit flat and not rock around as you slice it
Be careful, Stephen. I used to say a knife wasn't mine until it had tasted my blood. I've had a lot of cut fingers over the years 🙄
As the kids say... big oof
