I would like to correct your fisherman. While pulling cast net after being thrown, always pull in the downstream side not upstream. If pulled in upstream side, the net floats because of current. Fish may flee away.

These fishes don't take on lure. They feed on microscopic plants in the riverbed. The bigger ones we call NGO-P and the little ones are NGOTUP and NGOYO. During my youth I use to be the top gun in river net fishing in my village. So nostalgic 😭😭😭
