First record I bought was Songs from the Wood. Was hooked after that. Gotta admit tho they should have quit after Stormwatch; their last good album in my opinion.
@@HerveMendell Stormwatch is great but they made a lot of great music afterward as well. I didn't see them live until 'Crest of a Knave' in '88 and that was an amazing show and they beat my fave band at the time for a Grammy, which these days I think was proper. I do agree though that Tull from like '69-'79 is one of the best 10 year stretches of music evert made. Age catches up to us all.
Bonjour de France ;) I'm extremely happy to have discovered your channel... I'm an old singer influenced by traditional American music (Folk, Gospel, Country, Blues etc.) like all those born in the sixties in Europe and I'm happy to see that all this is not dead in the hearts of many people. I'm a fan... God be with you.
@@AdamPearceMusic Thank's a lot guy! I would love to hear what you would do with your own version (I guess much more Rock) of Townes van Zandt's wonderful title: Waitin' around to die.
I'm 68 but when I was 17, the first live band concert I ever went to was Jethro Tull playing in Melbourne, Australia. They blew my mind. Amazing musicians. Love your version, well done.
Young man I tripped over this song by pure luck I saw that you were going to cover this JT tune and believe me you didn’t disappoint this was awesome !! Anyone who likes the 70’s explosion of so many killer songs and acts here’s 1 for you !! Looking forward to seeing more from you !!!! You are very talented young man !!
Hell yeah me too . When he looked up and gave that little look and grin to the camera, I was like oh shit this is def about to be really good lol. Amazing cover.
@@AdamPearceMusic Do it! Helluva lot easier than guitar. And it’s Tull - just hit the notes and make some vocal noises - doesn’t have to sound smooth 😜
Yes! None of my friends will even go near Tull! My dad got me onto them many years ago and it feels like I’m the o my person in the world who still listens to them anymore. Awesome job! About to share this with my dad. Solo is beautiful brother 👍🥃🏴
Jethro Tull is a great band. Really sounds medieval rock :-) I have a great respect for the musical work of Ian Anderson and band. OMG! ,.... I'm not ashamed to say that I always forget to mention them when I'm talking about the rock bands I like. You rocked !! A very Merry X'mas to you Adam and your family !
Far out man! I discovered you a few weeks ago your Dancing in the Moonlight best ever cover, now this !!! Wow. Saw Zappa and JT almost back to back in '79 and now I'm trippin again. Great guitar skills and soul and your voice, just Wow! Thanks for sharing.
Always like to see Jethro Tull being covered by musicians who you can tell are true fans! Great cover and great vocals! You may have just made Martin Barre proud
Adam - loved your rendition of Locomotive Breath; especially the intro. Grew up in that 70's, and Aqualung was one of my most listened to albums. And Locomotive Breath one of my most listened to songs off the album. Now at age 60, I've decided to learn the guitar ... not sure why. LOL Would love it if you shared your intro. Would like to try learning it. Thanks.
That's awesome that you're learning. It's one of the most rewarding endeavors you could do and of course it's never too late to learn. Unfortunately, I don't know when I'd have the time to tab that out. I get request for that all the time.
This is so good . The acoustic treatment of Locomotive breath is as good and menacing as the original by JT
Thank ya!
Brother that was just plain badass!😎🤘
I got to see Tull twice. I didn’t realize how profoundly great Anderson was and is.
Awesome!
Man...please proceed to cover every song in existence. So good.
Much appreciated!
No hyperbole, this is one of the best acoustic renditions of any song ever on RUclips that I’ve heard. Bravo man!
Hell yeah! Thank you!
Great to hear Jethro Tull get some love on RUclips. I fear the younger set don’t know much about this unique band. Great job
They're an underrated band..
I'm 27 now and completely into in Jethro Tull! To me it might be the best Band ever made music...

I almost didn't click on this one. That would have been a HUGE mistake! Slayed it!🦾

That guitar solo was sick !!!!
