I am truly bless and take nothing for granted. The price of gear is ridiculous, be smart and buy used. I never had a used piece of gear go out on me. Pro Audio gear is built to last.
I wear all the hats: artist, composer, engineer, learning about publishing. It is a huge handicap to all these, doing it yourself. Starting with my own projects but intend to attract clients sooner than later. Life is balance. A Jack-of-all-trades is master of none, but im gaining experience nonstop.
All i want is the lavry Gold for the soft saturation and neve master bus transformer with 16a motu interface and a pultec eq and i will be good. i have the prov vla 2 and lindell 1176 FET however GOD willing i will have everything i need soon. 🔥🔥🔥 dope video.

Snakes from Seismic audio and Hosa cables primarily, they have been solid so far. Cover gear with a table cloth when not in use to deal with dust. Hardware is ridiculously expensive but I cant pass down software. :)
I have warm gear and I like the Warm 1b and the EQ. Honestly I could make a album with warm gear and no one would miss the real stuff. My only complaint is the Warm La2a clones are noisy, i mean very noisy. I like there stuff except those especially for the money they shouldn't have any noise. The real deals are quiet
I hate relocating and having to pack it all up and hook it up again. Dont let you forget to not label a AC adapter or a specific plug lol. Then the space everything takes. I keep getting keyboards that I want the sound and tactile feel, but just be wanting a rack version because I know I dont have the space...I have no problem chaining some midi.
Cables most important, not to be overlooked. But Mogami cables bro 💁🏾♂️. Pricey . I use Planet waves and Van Damme , good quality not as high spec as Mogami but they aite 🧡💁🏾♂️.
Don't stretch out for it bruh but if the gear is +1K or you can afford it just go Mogami. The other option is to learn to solder and make your own cables. Mogami bulk cable and adapters are actually pretty cheap
With that much gear you probably should be making your own cables at this point or at least know how to. I have in nice amount of gear maybe a little over half of what you have and I made all my cables from mogami and nuetrik connectors. As far as electricity with your investment I would have a separate service installed just for the studio with the battery backup search protection. Give your kids my phone number to call me if an unfortunate event takes place lol. I feel the same way about my children. Perhaps I'll invest in a mausoleum and have all my gear set up in there with me in my studio chair.
lol would like to see your studio. I had 12 outlets installed and all my gear is on APUs. I have put cables together before and don't care for it. I told my wife to sell everything and don't keep nothing/ sell at half price lol
You should think about getting in the box my guy. You would be amazed at how good these pieces are replicated in the digital realm and will save you a world of headaches and deliver you nothing but convenience. I'm sure you are used to this lifestyle, but it is okay to let go. I'm sure all this gear brings you plenty joy, so that's all that matters.
lol you must haven't seen my analog vs digital video. I am Hybrid I have just as many plugins that i do hardware. I buy all the current plugins and i may use some. I am completely in the box after my mix goes through my analog gear. Thanks pls like and subscribe
Plugins come close, but will never sound the same as analog. Common sense would tell you A. Ppl wouldn’t be buying it if it didn’t work B. Companies would NOT continue making hardware if there is no demand. It’s not lucrative I’ve yet to hear a modeled plugin eq that didn’t break when pushed unlike its hardware counterpart. Besides can’t know the hardware “sound” without actually owning you know HARDWARE. Most of these cats are just repeating what others say with no actual experience 😂😅

You don't look like you have many patch bays. How do you have all this gear hooked up? 3 or 4 pieces in a chain?

Thoughts on clones. That whole 1st rack can be had for way less if all of it was Warm audio not just the preamp.
