Seeing the game the other day was like the IU-Purdue match-up of old. Nail biter and down to the wire. Now you have two programs, with head coaches of their Alma maters. Now it is interesting again.
Purdue holds a dominating 117-89 lead in the series v. Indiana. Purdue is the reigning Big Ten champion, winning the title in 2017 and giving the school a conference-leading 23 overall. Gene Keady was 21-20 v. Bob Knight career and Matt Painter is 11-8 career v. Indiana, having led them to wins in 5 of the last 6 meetings, dating back to 2014.

@@willrussell6384 Yeah the Bucks will probably miss the tournament this year but that's OK, they don't deserve it. But then again in Columbus basketball is kind of an afterthought. Purdue however will be in the tournament but once again will not be in the Final Four, probably won't even come close. They'll choke in tournament play. They've been doing that since the Reagan administration.
Purdue has not been to a final four in 38 seasons.During that same time IU has been there 4 times.Bobby Knight took iU to 3 final 4s from 1980-81 ,1991-92 shutting out Gene Keady
So u guys winning a couple championships 30-40 years ago makes u guys better now? Thats literally every IU fans logic, and when yall say u guys better, thats the only evidence u have to back it up... we got a couple banners too homie
