That brings back a lot of memories when I was a boy in the seventies mom and dad would take a Coleman stove and fry hamburgers in the. City Parks we were driven by on vacation and we sat there. An eat are lunch and then remind me to worship to the Pan and we would be on our way.
Boy I’ll tell ya guys you both have a great sense of adventure. Every trip as fun as the one ya took before ya. Sure there’s gonna be favorites, mine has so far been Glacier, however I haven’t been to Hawaii or the Grand Canyon. I’m sure it’ll change in time. Anyhow thanks guys for bringing me along. Very enjoyable
Excellent video, thanx for taking us along. The music had that mystical timeless feel which was perfect for this video. The Studebaker reminded me of one of my favorite cars, the Grand Tourismo Golden Hawk by Studebaker. The last time I was there was in 1956 and I still have those images in my memory. We got there in a 1941 Chevy, a lot of memories.😃
That was very cool. So i did a quick study on petrified wood 😉. Apparently, green is the most rare of this type of wood fossil and is also magnetic, with some having gold or silver in it. The oldest piece of petrified wood found in my area is a whopping 70 million years old according to Google. Thanks for sharing Adam & Abby. ps: that little BBQ grill is really coming to be handy Adam eh!, nice 👍. Blessings 🙏.
In time 18:24 the opening landscape looks like a movie set for the Martian. You both do such a wonderful work in capturing our National Parks on video. Thank you😊
It's amazing to think that, depending on where the petrified wood has been found, age can range from 20 million years to 300 million years old. Specimens from Arizona are approximately 280 million years old and those from Washington and Oregon are 38 million years old. It's also fascinating they the petrified wood breaks into pieces that look like they have be cut with a chainsaw.
Abom you have really got the travel video thing worked out. Great shots, great editing, great sound, great music. All makes for a very enjoyable adventure each time.
Very well done review of the Park. A side note there is an amazing newspaper rock along the South entrance to Canyonlands NP. You can stand about 10 ft away from the rock. Enjoying your vids from this Haul👍
The CCC is a forgotten story of the infrastructure in the US.... ... The Painted Desert and Petrified Forest are such a hidden gem!!! Isn't it amazing you can't see anything from Eye 40!!!!
You're gonna need a much bigger Passport book. I've already begun inserting extra pages into mine. We travel by motorcycle and tent camp in national parks. First stop is almost always the Passport kiosk. (I've been watching you, Adam, since your first RUclips videos at your place of employment. )
Many of the tree cuts appear to be sawed and I know that's probably not the case. Did you get any info regarding the "cuts" from your brochures or rangers?? Thanks.
Been there 2 times. The first time in 1998 and the second time in 2005, and it was a great experience both times, which I would like to experience again, but since I live in Denmark the chances of getting there again are quite small, especially in light of the fact that in the meantime I has retired and money is tight now.
@@BCHonea I mean I wish they would mention it in their intro in each video. Context for us. When they mention the holiday, thanks giving, christmas whatever, that's obvious. I can't see any stamps, low quality.

My wife and I really enjoy the channel, drove my family and the RV out west and stopped by petrified forest! What a beautiful place!

Love you two. Your content is excellent and edited very nicely, but your CHARISMA is what makes all of this so interesting.
Awesome scenery of fossilized trees and stunning landscapes thanks for sharing your adventures.
Thanks for sharing.

Your travelogues are great to see. Thankyou.
I was there 13 years ago. It still looks exactly the same. Wonderful sights.
We love your videos, reminds us of the trip we first made in 1962, one we have made many times before.
Awesome place to see! Thanks for sharing guys!
Awesome video you 2. Are you going to start a cookery channel next Lol.
Regards.
Steve.

My Grandpop worked for the C.C.C. , this was when the concrete roads were built going to the Shore in Southern N.J.
Just found you guys and love your adventures. My husband and I have decided to visit all 63 national parks. Thanks for sharing

@34:02 that bird is waiting for its dinner
Great observation, that was my exact thought also.😃

Adam I was watching QVC this morning and they had a portable grill on there designed by Robert Irvine thought it might work for you
Where did you get your passport book? We really like the idea of keeping track of where we have traveled. Thank you for sharing your videos with us.
Any National Park visitors center will have the passport books 👍🏻 Keep in mind any park visitors center will also have a stamp to collect 😎

👌🤓
My Dad worked for 3 c in Montana
Being there on a cold day is better than when it is 110 degrees. Those hikes will kill you in the summer.
I know this was posted in April, but when did you take your trip?
This was in March of 23.
When were you here ? Give us the dates in the video so we can judge the weather and such.
Look at the stamps, dates all over the place

You can clearly see that these were sawn before they were “petrified”…
Maybe the dinosaurs had hand saws and cut them down for firewood.
