In this video (Part 1 of a 2 part series) Randy goes over how to enter a room for interior CQB and assess a situation with an unarmed assailant that requires going hands-on.
Key components in this drill are being aware and assessing the suspect as well as the surrounding environment, and how to navigate it. In reality this will be fast and ugly, and it likely won't be in an open space. Prepare yourself accordingly. Спорт
Not just excellent information, but the man gets to the point succinctly and quickly without all the Hollywood drama and branding bs. Breath of fresh air. Thank you!
I'm so happy to see a JTF2 guy actually being allowed to talk to the public. Canada finally got their head out their ass and realized having their tier one guys out there in the open will generate more interest in joining the forces and God knows we ned that right now. Great work dude!
Great pedegogie! I like the emphasis on situational awareness and recognizing people and things.
Awesome material, glad to see technique in full swing!
Great video as always, thanks Randy
Very interesting to hear and see it from a realistic perspective and from a guy who knows what he talking about. Thanks...
These are great videos thank you for sharing
Just came across the channel and must say it’s pretty interesting while being kept simple.
Keep up the great work
Appreciate the training aids . 👊🏼⚔️🍁
Why not order to the ground first, THEN go hands on if no compliance?
His demeanor wasn't showing someone that was going to comply and the individual had enough time to comply as the operator was crossing the room.
Magistrall!!!
How does the added weight of plates, kit, semi-secured weapon change your hands-on posture? First time I ever wore plates and went to prone, about busted my nose because my center of gravity was way off. In this instance, you're trying to change the assailants posture, but you have other things on you that's changing your own posture. Have you felt that in hand to hand? Anything you noticed?
Any situations where you or your team went hands-on with an armed enemy soldier? Not just an unarmed person in the room, but an actual enemy.
Where you in Trenton gym recently? I swear I saw you
Don’t forget the “o sorry eh”
Indoors = proximity
Check hands = Capability
Look into eyes = Intent
Boss I have an idea for You You should contact Camping with Steve and Do a Stealth Episode very serious
What top and bottom’s are those ?
I think it’s the 5.11 ones. He made a short video on it.
Found it, thanks to you 👍🏽
His primary needs to be behind him way more if it all possible before engaging in a hands on confrontation with the suspect. With it swinging in the open as displayed, it can be used as a leverage point against the operator / officer.
Where’s your channel and videos on cqb?
Haha, forgot that's how you validate experience and knowledge these days. Also I'm not hating on him, just pointing out a training adjustment to work on and employ if the situation allows.
lmao
don't or switch to your handgun
On Gang.💚
