The only electronic cables at the high of the water would be the 2 fog lights and even there plug is highly water resistant. Due to low water high and short duration the risk of damage is minimal. Even in the event of damage you get these replacements parts used for 20€. The entire rest of the election sit higher. Sensors on the exhaust itself are watertight.

Fun fact: water intrusion happened here it's just less obvious and can cause mold in the future as well as possible electrical problems if water pools and corrodes any grounds. Pro tip: roll all the windows up and turn your ac or heater vents to intake and not circulate. It will pull air from below the windshield into the car which will create positive pressure inside the car and prevent any water from being able to seep in. Only works on cars with good seals tho

A lot of people don't know, every bmw produced since 1991 is actually an anphibious car and can cross calm rivers and lakes with a depth to up to 50 metres. Just go ahead and try it, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised 😎

The key is to go slow so you dont force the water into the intake. But if your intake is below the water, well in that case you are screwed any ways, or just turn around.
Yeah if you suck water into your intake what happens when you floor it the thing takes a huge gulp of whatevers in it, let's keep driving and burn off that combust able water 😂. Just incase your in that situation. Might save you an engine rebuild lol 💰💰😁
a useful tip i learnt from the glossier subreddit was to poke the seal with a pin instead of peeling it off. it gives you way more control with how much comes out.

I used too fill up my modified exhaust with water at the self-serve car wash, nothing happened but it made my exhaust louder and it was spitting water out the muffler.
It's the fuse box you dont want wet (and it needs air, but that is only if sustained high water). It goes for all ICE cars. That is the point of going slow. Cars that rush in have water forced up, over and into the fuse box thus defeating the purpose of fuses.
