Thanks, Scott. It took me the whole weekend and three different instructors telling me the same thing in different words before I finally figured it out on my last lap ever. :-)
Fsell, I use a program called Dashware to overlay the data from the data acquisition system on top of the raw video. I'll add a link to it in the description.
Yeah, the newer GoPros do a better job with anti-shake than previous versions. Also, I use bulky pro-grade camera mounts instead of the wobbly plastic camera support bits that GoPro provides. Keep the camera as close to the mounting point as you can and never use the little plastic extension arms if you can help it.
Nice! The motion quality looks really good for 30 fps. For onboard stuff (especially on my race bike), on my Hero HD, 720p @ 60 fps gave much smoother motion, even if it gets converted to 30 fps later on.
Fiveohno, yes! It's from a GoPro Hero3 clamped to my harness bar. Camera settings: Resolution: 1080p Frame rate: 29.97fps FOV: medium Exposure mode: spot meter

Nice work through the esses, I am still trying to get consistency through there.

Very nice. What video system are you using to get g-load and speed in the display?
Nice video! Hero3?
