Keep in mind that the a major part about Baki is that they turn their bodies into human weapons. Musashi isn’t just “using a sword” the sword is an extension of his body.. which is why no one can use it like he can
Musashi is happy that Pickle is a thing he can cut to his hearts content. Pickle knows that he will end up being cut and cut and cut, whether he wins or not doesn't matter. That's why he ran.

The one thing I never understood about this match was how detailed the "Science" behind the cuts were, yet the edges of the elbows, knees and shoulders were not completely cut off, yet it shows a clean cut around the circumference of targeted areas.
Dawg those are bone and he can't cut through the muscle to even get to the bone smh
I get that part, but if you look at the art, it shows a cut around the joints, he would have had to make a circular cut around each joint which was not his intention.@@sky-oq5mr

Grab a chicken leg and a knife. Cut don't saw into it see how the blade moves. That's how I think it was meant to be portrayed. Kinda hard to show all that when your drawing on a time schedule and don't want to lose flow of action.

Tbh i think if pickle was super aggressive from the start and used cannon stance then attacked nonstop/ wrestled or grabbed his arms then ate him musashi wouldve lost.
Pickle got baited too much into musashis attacks and musashi won as perfectly as possible. As a result pickle thought he is as difficult as a wasp when in reality he got out strategized in what pickle thought was just a wild beast vs wild beast fight.
Yea that's the weakness of pickle is his intellect and lack of skill, hope to see him grow
Hopefully we get to see pickle grow, don't know how but to see him get stronger and smarter

Pickle strait up uses razor claws and teeth and has de-limbed folks in this very arena, and people are mad that a sword guy used a sword.
A weapon is still a weapon. You cant blame pickle when the RAzor claws and teeth are part of his own body. a katana is an outside weapon and a great one at that too. Its durable it has range it can cut throw anything and its in the hand of someone who has mastered it. You must understand that its not very fair in someway.

He's stating that he has the bad habit of not holding back, which resulted in him being able to cut down most of his enemies with one slash in the past. That's why he wished for someone whom he could cut with more than once with his full strenght. And Pickle was that someone. Musashi wanted to see how much he can cut Pickle. He used his full strenght the entire time with each slash.

Musashi's Sword-less Style is his actual strongest style, not his Sword Style, he could have ended the fight at any time that he wanted to. Musashi held back against Pickle as Pickle was essentially just a training block for him to cut.
If he used his full strength, Pickle would have been diced, this is the same guy that Yujiro who is also above Pickle considers an Era to Era Equal.

Sad to say, musashi is the literal worst opponent for Pickle. Musashi'a specialty is the sword, he doesnt have to match pickle physically like everyone else did, and Pickle doesnt commprehend powerful techniques that coukd counter Musashi's blade, hell even.the most versatile and literal limit to the ceiling of skill in baki struggle to hold it together in front of Musashi
Also Musashi is possibly the fastest/quickest character in Baki, comparable to Yujiro and agilty is a big weakness of Pickle too as Baki was easly able to out speed him with his techiques and thats the whole reason why Baki was gonna win the match

What I find interesting about this fight is musashi could actually win this fight by killing pick but instead Musashi chose to take his time with cutting pickle, it’s always interesting about musashi that he could actually win a good portion of fights he’s lost if he had better control of his emotions.

We all can agree that Musashi is the only one who actually defeated Pickle 💀.By the way he is my favorite character of the Baki series
There is a weapon argument to be had tho. A sword and in this case a katana is a force multiplier. Musashi is great, don't get me wrong but clearly having a piece of sharpened iron gives you an edge in any melee.
