I am a fan of playing aggressively but I've never liked pure rush, as it is just inconsistent. But this game is a showcase of exactly why I dislike solo (Advance and punishes low thwart heroes).
Yep! Totally agree, I have been playing more two handed (off scree) and enjoying it a lot. Solo is much quicker, but has higher variance. Each are fun, but totally see how it could be a turn off!
I wonder if it would have been better to Recover while you were in hero form so you could tank the hit from Sandman and trigger Counterattack? That's a really tricky matchup, especially with Power Drain burning through the encounter deck so fast.
