Korg Pa5X - 35 new styles demo from the OS 1.20 update

- there were 35 new styles added with the korg pa5x OS 1.20 update. This demo will show all 35 new styles with intro 1, the assigned keyboard sets and the chord sequence of each style.
The assigned keyboard sets are really good, and some of them are new for the korg pa5x, you can save those keyboard sets in your own user bank if you want to use them for other styles. Also you will probably recognise a couple of the new styles, most of them are based on famous songs and if you are a fan of Bruno Mars or Ed Sheeran you will probably recognise a few of those songs. But there are more songs in this set that can be recognised. These styles are a great modern addon to the existing korg pa5x style library.

I agree, most of them are fantastic, they sound so modern, also they all have four really good variations, but that would take to long to show every variation. But what a great free update to the existing styles!
Ik krijg steeds meer zin in de pa5x. Dank voor de demonstratie. Nu speel ik op een dgx670 van yamaha. Erg leuk en mooi. Nu de korg ook in 88keys is zie ik daar een opvolger in. Groetjes uit enschede

Also I have a korg pa1000 , the sequencer in the Korg pa1000 never ever shuts off the bottom keyboard, unless I say to, like I told you I don't think it's normal, I think so we got to push a button to overlay chords on the lower keyboard because the pa5x shuts off the lower keyboard

Nice share. A question, is it possible to transpose Chord Sequences? Lets say they recorded the chord sequence in F#minor but i am only comfortable playing that song in A-minor? Thanks
Yes it is. But you transpose the whole machine. Upper, lower and accompiament. The chord sequence displayed chords will even show transposed chordnames
Korg is best choice in keyboards. Roland is best choice in Synthesizer Workstations (Fantom for example). Cool video, bro.

Hello, I would like to ask you a question from my ignorance, ..... how do I leave a left hand chorus in sustain without having a pedal on my pa5x? thanks for your help.

there are a lot of them, but i didn't want to spoil all the fun discovering them, but here are a couple to get you started:

Your music knowledge is outstanding and your in-depth knowledge of the Korg Keyboard is absolutely amazing. I am very new to Korg having had a Genos for several years. You have an ability to put across your knowledge in such a way that is easy to understand, it wouldn't surprise me if you were a professor of music somewhere. sounds great. have you had any issues with freezing or crashes or bugs in the firmware? seems like a lot of problems reported and disappointment in the power user community

Everything looks like it's working perfectly on your keyboard with the 1.2 or do you have to keep on reloading the operating system because I'm having problems with the 1.2 operating system there are definitely bugs in software problems
No, I don't have issues that force me to reload the operating system.
I suppose your mixer never never freezes mine does what I'm in the mixer which I'm in there a lot and I'm changing instruments listening soloing sometimes it just stops it freezes
this happens sometimes, very rarely, but when it happens it's very easy to solve with a workaround: press the menu button and then press the exit button, then your screen unfreezes.
It does happens especially if operating too fast with functions

korg pax5 is amazing i have one and is a lot better than my yamaha psr sx900.

Seems most these guitar backing tracks,sound like cheesy disco stuff,can it be made to sound like a good chorusy sounding guitar,instead of a cheesy little tinny sound?

They are factory styles
A lot of these new keyboards have styles that seem to be stuck in the 1980s American pop music genre. What about Japanese pop music sounds that's where it's at today.
