Fantastic video mate. Just a bit of info on that tripled up 159 pairing. Every so often during the day South West Trains will combine a third 159 onto the original 2 sets from Exeter St Davids. 2 sets come from Exeter whilst the third meets them at Salisbury from Bristol Temple Meads. 😄
Great video to start the year. Have a beautiful healthy and amazing 2017 and i think i already said to you the best wishes but don't know for sure. Look forward to all the video's you will make this year! And also for Chloe the best wishes :)
Wow that was an amazing film,I hope you can manage to film on the Chiltern Mainline from Birmingham Moor Street to London Marylebone at 2017 but the airplanes were heading towards Heathrow Airport,A little bit quieter at Clapham Junction but I recommend you to film at Brighton on the Brighton Mainline which the Southern services goes towards Hove,Worthing,Littlehampton,Chichester,Southampton Central,Portsmouth Harbour,Lewes,Seaford,Eastbourne,Hastings,Ore,Ashford International,Gatwick Airport and London Victoria including London Bridge,The Thameslink services goes from Brighton towards London Bridge and Bedford via Gatwick Airport,East Croydon,London Blackfriars,London St Pancras International,West Hampstead Thameslink,St Albans City,Luton Airport Parkway and Luton on the Midland Mainline,The Gatwick Express can also go from Brighton towards London Victoria via Gatwick Airport and the Great Western Railway limited services goes from Brighton towards Bristol Temple Meads or Great Malvern via Hove,Worthing,Southampton Central and Salisbury. Have a merry Christmas and a happy new year and have a great time at Stafford where you will be seeing services by London Midland,Cross Country,Virgin Trains (West Coast) and Freight. 👍👍🏻👍🏼👍🏽👍🏾👍🏿😃😃😃😃😃
Wow Clapham junction is really trains going in and out hard to keep up with all of it lol , I will be make the long journey down there in September to film
It's an amazing station to come to, I film here at the end of each and every year to close off my year of trainspotting. This years one will be filmed in the daylight for better viewing than last years film
3:55 3 differnet types of the south west 159s :) the original a newer and a newerer haha even tho that's not a world but you did a amazing job at keeping with all the trains
Am i to assume that by the class 450's working Reading services that SWT finally managed to persuade Porterbrook leasing to take back the 458/0 Junipers after the latter were "Banished" to the Waterloo-Reading services possibly Jarred but a fantastic clip nonetheless
From what I know the 450 units have been working the Reading services for a while now, the 458 units will occasionally work them should they need to increase capacity
Triple 159's are common on the SWML. They normally split at certain points. For example rear 3 stay at Salisbury, 6 continue, rear 3 at Yoevil and then 3 cars to Exeter. The service pattern changes throughout the hour/day
I guess from your closing comments re the Clapham railway staff, was the reason you filmed from that platform or is that incorrect! The sun did you no favours as the far platform trains were too distant but on the plus side you caught the DH 56 really well. However fair do:s on all the train numbers you still managed to give.
hi there. great video as always. i was wondering if you have ever thought about filming at the intermediate stations between Southampton central and Eastleigh, as some of the services, especially at Swaythling station can come through quite fast?? let me know of your thoughts. Happy new year to you by the way.
Blimey, head dizzyingly busy. Would definitely like to go sometime. And was that whole video one single take? I suppose that makes editing a bit more easier.
On some occasions if the station is really busy then the staff can get a little bit funny with you. But most times when I have been here they haven't really bothered me, I'm glad you liked the film
Excellent video bud Im hopefully going clapham junction later this year........ Did you have any issue with station staff or security personal filming here
Amazing shots of 56104 and 561098!
