SOME REALLY GREAT FIDDLERS THERE , AND IT WAS A FINE TRIBUTE TO MANY OF THE GREAT , DPARTED FIDDLERS LIKE VASSAR OR KENNY . BUT AS OF TODAY , 9/22/23 , BOBBY HICKS IS STILL VERY MUCH STILL ALIVE
Great stuff. If this were in 4/4 time I'd call it Jazz! The fact that the natural instinct here is to clap on the offbeat makes it JAZZ, which, of course, derives from Black religiosity. The minister would shout something, then leave a space where the parishioners could respond, "Amen."
Pure enjoyment. Pure enjoyment. Pure enjoyment. That,s all I got to say about that.
When you want to play like the best: you must first play with the best. Lesson learned.
aah that's true ! matur suksma

I liked the guys reaction when Michael Cleveland started. Just walk away. He actually didn't kill it like I figured.
