Fallout 4 Settlement Tour - Greentop Nursery (NO MODS)

- Following the events of "Open Season", several Raiders surrendered to the Sole Survivor and promised to change their ways and run a productive settlement. The "ex-Raiders" (really, regular settlers dressed up in Raider garb) kept their promise and now Greentop is a place for both commerce and farming. This build was done on a Playstation 4 using the Game of the Year Edition with No Building Mods. The only mods I have are Creation Club skins for Armor and the Pip Boy. You can check out my write up and gallery about this settlement build here: www.wonkosgeekery.com/blog/fa...
Music is from Dark Fantasy Studios:

3:29 Nice job on those floors. Changes the feel of this house quite a bit.
5:09 I like how that shelf looks. Was that a happy accident or planned?
6:45 Unique looking armor shop with that angled porch.
7:44 Backwards corner wall. I love using it that way. In fact the house I used in my "stopping rug glitch sinking" vid to demonstrate the conduit trick is just about 20 feet past your restaurant (closer to that rusty van.) I don't think the wall is visible in that vid though.... Perhaps for a split second as I run back out.
9:38 Good to see Becky's branching out. Getting that family empire back to where it once was.
12:46 Kitty!
Good job on the junk deco throughout this place.
Well done!
P.S. Thanks for the shout out.
Thanks for watching! Always love to read your comments. Appreciate all the kind words. The flooring was the biggest challenge but I have to say it came out better than I expected! The shelf thing was sort of "luck". I needed to fill that space on both sides, and realized that shelf was the perfect size to do it! And yes, the backwards corner wall drives me nuts sometimes but the texture is unique and I love getting to use it. :)
This is an amazing build. The restoration of the house is exceptional.
This is great, you should create more Sir!!
Thank you kindly! I have several other videos for you to enjoy and you can see my blog entries and galleries here - www.wonkosgeekery.com/
Your skill at decorating is most excellent!
Love the creativity. Excellent job! I'm a vanilla builder myself. Build mods always look all plastic play skool Lego crap and don't fit the game in any way shape or form.
Thank you kindly! I do want to use Mods eventually but my focus will be on the ones that unlock existing objects that you already see in the game (I think it's USO?).
Yes, USO by AndrewCX. It unlocks assets that currently exist in the game world, so you expand your building ability while still keeping a lore-consistent look.
I use some of those mods. When I do use mods, I scroll through the list at the end of my tours.
How did you do the floor??? I’ve been trying for ages to get something like that
Thanks for watching! The principle behind this can be seen in The Skooled Zone's video on fixing houses in Sanctuary. The house at Greentop is basically the same exact design as the ones at Sanctuary so it works. However, to change things up, I used the Vault pieces that have a floor and ceiling only, allowing me to create the kitchen "section" while the rest of the house had the wood floors. It takes a LOT of tries to get it right. I think I easily spent two hours just on the floors on afternoon! Here's The Skooled Zone video: ruclips.net/video/inpsSzg-lPA/видео.html
How to assign one person for the shop?
Assignment is easy. Go into build mode, highlight the settler and hit "X" (on PS4) and then go over to the shop, highlight it and hit "X" again. In time you should see a "Resource is Assigned" message pop up. :)
