The entire Luz's "death" scene had me in tears. Especially when the Collector finally realized what death really means to mortals, and that he couldn't fix her when she "broke". The part where he asks "What is this stuff? Why won't it stop?" It sounds like he's talking about Belos' corruption blight, but I feel he was talking about his tears, as it's the first time he ever felt grief. Another example of the incredible writing on this show.
I love that it wasn't just a fake-out death. It actually meant something and had plot relevance.

That scene was just so unexpected. Incredible. Yeah I initially took The Collector asking why won't it stop because they realized what the consequences was and had never actually cried. In the scene where he breaks down and is sniffling, he doesn't actually cry, just sniffles.
It was Infinity War and Endgame all over again….

Gotta say that belos trying to play it off as the curse making him evil is the funniest shit i have ever seen
I can smell a Eggman vs Super Sonic in Sonic 2 a mile away when it come to this piece of literal scum.
That is top 3 funniest moments for me on this channel. The way he has his shifty little eyes, the quick beads of sweat. It's so well and hilariously done.
No matter how much luz proved to be a better human than him, he still tries to make himself that he is a victim. At that point, he was just being pathetic.
Plus! He has lied so many times to everyone, so why would he expect luz to believe him?? I'm glad that luz was doing nothing to protect him from the boiling rain, he deserved every bit of pain and suffering during his death.

I caught that too recently rewatching the series with my boyfriend my poor heart!
I just realized, Belos used to say he could speak to the Titan and Luz got all mad in season two, saying she'd bet he can't, and wondering why nobody believed her, but Glyphs ARE the language of the titans, she was actually speaking to the titan from the start.
Tbh we don't even need to talk about glyphs.
Luz talked to a Titan the whole time, _literally_ .
I love that Eda never got her arm back. I'm a Physical Therapy student and I work with people with lots of limb differences. They deserve representation that doesn't send the message of "you're incomplete" from movies and shows always restoring anything like that. They're different now, and that's okay. I love that they didn't "fix" her.
I mean they ever cured her other disability which is her curse.

To be clear, the heart isn't in the skull, but when Belos possessed the heart, the entire Titan awakened, including the skull. The heart is in the catsle which is, well in the heart of the island
Amphibia and Owl House prove why animation should be appreciated more.

I know Odalia only appeared in cameo when Amity is reunited with her father but I bet she isn't in this final scene in the future because Alador had divorce her and never revealed what became of her.
Alador deserves infinitely better. I hope he left her ass, straight up 😅
Anyone else hear the heartbeat while luz was falling in the water? It almost stopped when kings father grabbed her out of the water.
This episode, let alone the entire series, is the definitive exampled definition of the now famous Del Toro quote;
“Animation Is cinema.”

I took a screenshot of it because I thought I wanted to use it for the thumbnail. I ultimately didn't use it for this exact reason haha I was like this looks like it's straight up Smash Bros 😂
This show has quickly become my favorite show I’ve seen. I started watching about three months ago, and from about halfway through season 1 I was hooked. And by season 2 I couldn’t get enough. I’ve spent almost every day since the show ended watching other people react to it, I even got my mother to watch it with me. This show has made such a large impact on me. I don’t even relate to a lot of the characters’ struggles. I don’t have abusive parents, I was never shamed for not fitting in, I don’t have anxiety, I don’t have adhd, I don’t have any chronic illness, but even with all that, with all the characters being so different from me, they all have made such an impression on me. It’s made me cry at least 20 times. It’s made me buy merch for a show for the first time in my life. It’s even made me actually consider getting a tattoo for the first time. Thank you to Dana and the team for making such an amazing, beautiful show that has made my life that much brighter.
I actually think the kindness and forgiveness part is an amazing lesson. Because while it is true that those things can quite often help, they are not the universal cure all that many kids shows portray it as. Some people cannot be redeemed. Some people do not feel any remorse about what they are doing. And while it is not wrong to understand and sympathise where someone is coming from (Phillip was an Orphan, his sorroundings taught him that magic is evil, Caleb was his only real Ancor point) It is still right to demand accountability. Because Caleb had the time and the opportunity to see past his prejudices, to change his mind. but he didn't and at that point, he has no one but himself to blame.
I didn't cry that much when Luz died because I knew she was going to be back... somehow. And what a comeback that was!
What completely destroyed me the most besides Eda and King's reaction is how The Collector is processing everything. He is what King said all along, just a misunderstood kid who wants friends and who didn't know any better, and had to watch in despair how Luz, the only person who approached him without fear, taught him about friendship and didn't hesitate a second to save him from Belos' attack, was now gone and his magic couldn't do anything about it. All because he truly wanted to apply what Luz was teaching him 😭
This episode was a literal rain cloud of tears dude!! Both sad and happy tears built up and left my eyes watching it with my friends in a call last night!
I've never gone through such drastic emotions in such a short time. Gravity Falls hit me REALLY hard, but this hit WAY harder. I loved every second.
@@EversPrimeTime I felt the exact same! I loved gravity falls growing up and the finale hit my emotions, than Amphibias finale hit harder when I watched it last may, and this hit harder than both of em combined! It was such an amazing finale

I love how all came full circle now. In episode 108, which almost everyone hates because it was acording to fans inconsequential, the story foreshadows the future events. Eda is in seamingly defentless form with huge potential, Luz has temporarly all the incredible power she could only dream of, the Titan is in Luz´s body and King is in taller body there which goes for his future Titan height.

I've watched this episode multiple times, and I tear up every single time at multiple spots. It's been absolutely wonderful being part of the Owl House fandom and watching the series progress; Dana and the rest of the crew deserve the _absolute best_ for this incredible show.
one detail I notice when re watching the finale after the defeat of belos the sky is now blue, green, and yellow the only time we saw that is when luz and lilith travel back in time before philip takes over the boiling isles which that is the time where everyone is happy

They censor the gay kisses, but happily allow a man to be stomped to death onscreen by the main characters, gotta love Disney

Ever since, Thanks to them, there was the theory that Belos would posses the titan
That theory has been around long before Thanks to Them came out. There’s a deleted scene where it looks like the titan’s body stands up and moves. The theory most likely came from that
I NEVER expected it, but in hindsight it totally makes sense lol I still want to know why the heart was in the eye socket though 👀

@@EversPrimeTime You got this wrong, the Heart was on the Chest, in Belos' castle. However, when Belos possesses something, the eyes, or more accurately, what's left of them for the Titan, glow blue with the possession magic
This was everything I had hoped for in the finale and more! Massive credit to Dana and her crew, it takes some serious talent to pull something like this off with the restrictions they were given. Beyond the gorgeous animation, the gut-punching feels, the masterful storytelling, the charismatic characters, the amazing soundtrack and the heartwarming epilogue and closure, is something not many shows/movies/books do well enough. It was SATISFYING. From the first frame to the last, everything mentioned prior worked because it made us satisfied. Satisfied the bad guy got his just desserts. Satisfied that everyone we cared for got their happy ending. Satisfied that all the major plot points were thrown in and resolved in this masterpiece potion of a finale. And finally, satisfied that despite it ending, despite the chance that we may never get to see these characters again, they left the door ever so slightly open that perhaps, just perhaps, a new story can be told. When the time is right.
It was a wonderful journey. I'm glad you shared it with us Ever, and will be hoping to see S2 as they come out. I'm off to cry again.
The way they were able to pull off this story after I assume MASSIVE pushback from Disney, is incredible. This show, the creators, etc. deserved so much better than Disney. But hopefully with what they did get through, will be great lessons for those who watch. I'm going to miss this show so much.
For the spin-off, I’m hoping for everyone in the future but it revolves around Luz and Amity’s daughter, Azura.
She even makes friends with the other gangs’ kids and get into their own messes. Maybe even have glimpses into the past to explain things like how the human realm portal ended up in Eda’s backyard, how Odalia and Alastor ended up together, how Eda and Hooty met, and a more in-depth look into Caleb and Phillip’s life in the Demon Realm before….u know.
Maybe even a twist where Azura ends up sent to the past at some point messing around with a new spell and we see that the Azura books was based on her when she ran into the author!!😁

Top 5 endings of any show I've watched. Simply incredible.
I can truly say no other cartoon in history has made me sob this hard. I couldn't be happier that I found this fandom and show.
Considering the circumstances the show had behind the scenes, the ending was still phenomenal
Despite the show being cut short and all of the drama that went on behind the scenes with Disney, it is truly amazing that the writers were still able to craft a beautiful, touching, and very emotional proper finale. Not to mention an incredibly moving flash forward epilogue which was the cherry on top (as well as hearing the theme play during the final scene).
Add to the fact this aired on Easter weekend so that was a nice gift for us LOL
But for Disney’s 100th Anniversary this year, having a show get an incredibly satisfying ending as well as one of their films “Elemental”making a huge comeback at the box office (technically Pixar’s but whatever) and of course Guardians 3 being an emotional final roller coaster throughout (and making huge money) are three big wins they needed.
Yup, King's dad was watching the whole time. 🥹

The most heartbreaking and devastating moment of the episode was not the death of Luz but crying of Camilla cos she felt it.

The ending was so good! You could tell there was so much more they would've done but still amazing how they cut everything down to 3 hour-long episodes. Loved the shows animation and story.

Deep down I had a feeling it was going to be a fake out, but man the emotions in that scene was heartbreaking, especially seeing Eda and King’s reaction (as well as his roar of fury) As well as the Collector crying for the first time.
Reminded me of Elemental, another recent Disney property that had

The character Wade, temporarily dying. The scene itself is incredibly heartbreaking and the voice actors do a phenomenal job. When I first got to the scene his death felt final. Even Wade himself didn’t think he would survive

The music in this episode made me sob
The music is absolutely what got me emotional. I'm a BIG music person, I usually listen for it and hearing the theme of the show throughout all the slower pieces was really hard-hitting

Loved this entirely. But also it's weird how all the points of this finale seem to be counter-arguments to Star Vs finale. They even stopped to have a discussion about the failings of moral relativism which Star Vs finale is kinda built around.

I found your channel from a clip of hooty in this episode being woken up when the collector gave him back to Lilith.
Since then, I watched this video, and then I went back and looked at what else you did. I binged your gravity falls videos, and then binged what you have of The Owl House, and came back to this video.

Just wanted to give you a heads up about amphibia thou since you are planning to react to it , its not very plot heavy , a LOT of the episodes are fillers , specially season 1 , they like introduce the main plot in the first ep and basically almost forget about it till the finale , the episodes are not leading anywhere , they are still light hearted thou
the only episodes i believe people would be excited to watch reactions for would be the finales of each season , those are really good

I can say it now since there are not spoilers left,
I was waiting for you to get to "Eda's Requiem" and see Eberwolf because his name is Eber and your name is Ever IDK maybe you would have never made the connection and like you uploaded the other season 3 episodes I only just now realized the person who uploaded those and that are the same person not a guy who looked like and has a similar name to Ever. IDK just wasn't paying attention or expecting a season skip. Maybe that's waiting to upload and you just jumped to now to see it today or some thing? it would be strange if you just cut out season 2 complexly.

Grate show and my friend it’s Rebecca rose I actually got to talk to her about season 1 of the owl house be for she got picked up by the owl house creator for seasons 2 and season 3 and the owl house creator saw what I thought about season 1 so she started to address each problem I had with owl house season 1 so then season 2 and season 3 actually were made way better as an result of this.
