regardless of the result of this worlds, UMTI has to go. they gave him a chance after completely choking internationally two separate events but a third is the last straw. he just doesn’t have what it takes to get past this mental block
Dom is going to have heart attack, PTSD when NA team give up Soul for Baron.
To put it in perspective, Dom had to start smoking because he played with Piglet but he can sit through NA at Worlds.
The only time I’ve seen TL look unstoppable is when Yeon plays Kaisa or APA on Ziggs. Games look sus when they’re off those champs.
This is the last year for NA to be represented as NA i really hoped these players would take these worlds seriously….

Honestly.. with the draw rng it doesn’t matter - whether you are an NA team at 2-0 or an NA team at 0-2, the only game you really have to win is at the 2-2 draw
Fly gets HLE now, TL gets Gam.. if you’re a mediocre team winning a Bo1 against a good team in the early stages doesn’t do anything for you, you just get dicked back down to 2-2 anyway.. unless you’re the mega unlucky team that draws BLG at 1-2 it’s winnable and the only thing that matters is winning against the teams you should beat and having a somewhat decent last day of Swiss and you’re through, last day Andy wins

Just finished game 1 and I'm actually howling watching this xD I'm sat on my own, actually audibly laughing out loud at how fucking hilarious Dom is in these moments. It's also slightly endearing too, as he does clearly, genuinely care about his region, hence the passion and dissappointment, he's a true fan. But the malding is still comedy gold

I love how much Dom cares about these games. I think he was a bit harsh on TL this series but only because it matters so much to him. It wasn't the best performance from TL but no horror show decisions. A bit tentative, a few mechanical misplays, and a questionable baron vs soul trade. But at least they tried for some of the more intricate teamfight maneuvers. Multiflanks aren't easy to pull off and very easy to look horrible doing, but if you have aspirations to be a top team, you have to be able to do them.

Tell me why Yeon when Ezreal ult comes in decides to use all spells. Just stop damage and its such a easy secure.
I mean there were no spells, it was kaisa passive, and as a jungler, idk why umti isn't timing his smite with the kai sa auto attack, it'll clearly take the drake into smite range
@@thecosmicmyth2164 why would you make the timing so tight when Kaisa can just stop damage and you get it guaranteed because Ezreal never does 900 damage. There was zero reason for Yeon to keep hitting. Yeon keeps hitting when its at 1000 and Ezreal Ult comes in. Atleast hit after Ezreal ult is gone. He can just walk away and Umti is fine. He drops it to 200 at the same time Ezreal ult is on drake. He is a complete idiot.
@@GoldenBoyXCM Im ngl as a jungler myself who is used to tracking this stuff (ally + my attacks on buffs and current hp), I don't see how any pro jungler can't time this, he should have known exactly when to smite like 5 seconds in advance, given how much dmg kaisa passive does. Umti should have been ready for it.
Sure, I agree with the fact that they could have both stood there like potatoes for 5 seconds and watch ezreal ult pass if they weren't confident in mechanics that a silver player should have, and it would have been theirs in the end, but I don't see how this safety net is ever needed in this level of play.
Also I don't even know if either of them saw ezreal ult coming in, seems like yeon prepped his auto attack before it appeared on the screen (he buffered an auto attack as he pressed w, you can see kaisa insta auto after w cast), so they didn't have the info at the time to make the plan to stop hitting, it was too late by the time yeon made the click.

I expected TL to lose because I have negative faith in NA internationally and somehow this win was even more depressing to me than if they had just lost like they deserve. NA shouldn't have any teams getting into Swiss automatically, all of them should have to go through play ins.

It's wild to struggle this hard against a team from LATAM lol. The really are just one big region where one area has 10x more money and opportunity than the other.
Neither of these teams are going anywhere. If TL makes these same mistakes against any of the top flight teams, they just get crushed. They had a good performance from one of their players who made a good play while having a 6k gold lead to keep them in worlds.

The point of a spoiler block is to prevent you from being spoiled to the result of the series based on the video time, since you would know it was a 2-0 because the video is short. Videos over 10 minutes are all considered mostly equal for the purposes of as revenue and algorithm priority so there is nothing scummy going on
