I can NEVER do my hair the same way as my hair stylist - it’s because I can’t go at it from the same angle - I watch every time and it looks easy - not longer than my shoulders but I always have straight patches in the back that I totally miss - and my bangs don’t sit the same way that I love. I hope you have heat protectant on - platinum plates that get extremely hot have burned off chunks. And mine is very thin and fine.
Use a flat iron to curl. Easier than curling iron.
