I'm just starting painting my own 3d printered models and you really inspired me! I like the idea of use graphite from your pencils for metallic dust effect.
It would be nice if you add the painting/colors/techniques at the video description or add notes at the video as you did with the Lich King.

It would look better with more shadows and weathering in the yellow parts of the costume

Hey, I mean, it's not that bad, you just need to practice. Also, I see printing lines on the face, you can't achieve good results with prints like this unfortunately. Resin printer is the way.

I am looking to get into painting 3D printed Statues and I am still searching for good paints for airbrushing and painting layers (Flesh tones , Shading , a lot of cloth or leather like textures with good colors without being too shiny) Any recommendations? Some Options I have in my area are Vallejo, and Liquitex any opinions on those two brands and if they are not good for realistic Comic Character Statue Painting what would you recommend without breaking the bank???
I used to buy Revell Aqua colors but they are not very good for the airbrush, so I switched to Vallejo. I am using them most of the time for the brush and when needed, for the airbrush too. However, for airbrushing I dont really like "water" based paints, I rather use lacquer (or synthetic if you will) like Mr Color, thats my preferred brand. But honestly brand is not that important, you just need a good quality paints and keep painting to get feeling for it and eventually you will find out what is best for you. but yes, Vallejo is very good way to go. Also, I just recently started to use dry pigments for painting shades and highlights, you can check that out in my StarLord video, I really like this method too. Good luck.

thanks man, all its at 0.05, I just recently started testing 0.03. Results are slightly better, especially heads are important for me

No worries 🙂 All statues you can see on youtube at the moment are printed with 0.05. Using Anycubic Mono X.

Thank you! For statues I use Anycubic Photon and Creality LD002R. For base I usually use FDM printer, which is custom BLV cube that I build my self.
What paints are you using. Great work!!

How do you scale the print ? To get it to 1/6th scale
Well, modelers are making models in a certain scale. If its this one in 1/4, I google for some scale calculator where I calculate how much % to downsize to make it 1/6
What paint you use for the flesh?
If you mean the brand I use Vallejo and Revell aqua as brush paints. It's a mix of red, yellow, white and brown
