The Jewish refugee ship "Knesseth Israel" is intercepted at sea and escorted to Haifa after refusing to go to Cyprus. Various shots the immigrant ship drawing into Haifa harbour. Various shots refugees leaving the overcrowded deck, British troops assisting people down the gangplank. Once on the quayside the refugees are searched and deloused.
