Nice! Was this a motorized mirror that swings in when locked?
No unfortunately my cayman is nearly as base as they come just manually folding
The process is the same for many models so if yours is motorized it should still be the same process for removal

what was the piece that fell off and where does it go?
3:26 it’s a black plastic that slides over one of the screw positions on the colored housing
Hopefully that makes since you can see it at the time stamp on the yellow one if you pause on the white one you can see where it slides over a screw hole
