Ever since I was able to remember, I have lost large amounts of blood through spontaneous nose-bleeds. It always seems to happen when the seasons change; summer to fall, fall to winter, spring to summer. it's always one side (not both sides at once) but whichever side it happens on seems to be just random. Is there a way to get full chemical cauterization?

Just had an experience of epistaxis this morning. My nose bled was heavier than normal and kept bleeding for more than 2hrs. Went to the ER and results were inflamed vessels by the littles area due to dry air. They did the Silver Nitrate treatment. It was painful and burned, but it stopped my bleeding. Definitely a scary feeling.

CAC Nerve Up Tablet: These are classical herbal tablets that balances the vata dosha in the body & provide good results to epistaxis patients. The ingredients such as abhrak bhasma, jahar mohra pishti, giloy, jahar mohra pishti, etc are used for the preparation of these tablets.

My nose bleeds have all been in the little's area but range in amount of blood lost and how long it takes to get rid of it.
A small nosebleed can last me 10 minutes. Medium would be 20 minutes at a steady blood flow. And a large one takes 30 minutes.
Large are the middle of of the bunch. This type leaks into my throat. Sometimes even a little nosebleed can leak in my throat. Usually however the larger and medium ones do this.
What's worse than a 30 minute nose bleed? An hour long nosebleed.
I call these ones: "My nose is trying to kill me #147." The number for the last part changes depending how many of those I get.
These are suffering. I'm talking I can't breath in the nostril that is effected. The blood is litteraly like a faucet leaking out of my nose.
My sinus in that area is clogged, and yeah blood definetly is in my throat at that point. All I smell is blood.
I imagine my other nostril that doesn't bleed often (the rare bleeder if you will) is practically disssapointed that the other one trys to kill me weekly.
Definetly have lost half a litre from one of those at point geez.
Do I get lightheaded from one of those? No. Do I need to be careful afterwards? Yes.
My mucus turns orange or yellow after a nosebleed. The blood mixes with the mucus. (My nose is not actually producing totally orange mucus on its own)
That's how I know it's stopped. Or at least trying to heal itself. Sometimes blood clots fall out of nose during a really bad nosebleed and then the nosebleed magically stops.
Like the logic behind that is weird. Same thing with my throat. My body never digests the blood I ever swallowed during nosebleeds.
It clots in my esophagus to be emmited from my mouth. Yay.. fresh blood taste. I've gotten so used to the smell of iron by now that nothing phases me anymore.
After that happens the nosebleed would stop shortly after. Every single time.
Smaller nosebleeds have the clots fall out. Larger ones have me spit out the clots. (As there's like too much blood to keep in my mouth at once)
Yes, if you swallow a lot of blood at once it will inflame your throat. Not fun.
What the heck is wrong with my nose.
