That was the cade I used to play SF4 vanilla at back in 2008. I havent been in a few years, great to see the 3rd floor fighting games are still in effect. I remember you were able to smoke at the machines but they built a dedicated smoking room a few years back.
That’s awesome. Been looking for Wonder Boy in Monster Land, but preferably a Sega City cab. Still pretty cool to see a machine that’s not a bootleg board. Thank you. 🙏
The Taito Hey is a holy grail for me. Just being able to play Garegga a d Rayforce on Taito Egrets is a bucket list objective. Plus, they have UMK3 on an Egret too, I believe.
@@PlasmaSnake369 Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3. Taito published Midway Games in Japan, paying them back for distributing Gun Fight, Space Invaders and the like in the US.
@@mostverticalproductions4808 I was just here and I didn't see any mortal Kombat. They had a Street Fighter EX 2 plus cabinet, a Virtua Fighter 2 cabinet, a bunch of different KOF. But it was mostly the Capcom classics like Super Turbo and third Strike that had actual multiplayer set ups. Overall I dont think they have American games. They did have an Atari Pong table top machine though.
@@mostverticalproductions4808 Batsugun Special was the only Batsugun they had. Right of it was Tatsujin Oh. This video shows Dogyuun to the left of it but that wasn't there when I was there.
They even have a Street Fighter The Movie machine, incredible! Nice to see other newest games ported to arcades, I wonder if it have DBFZ, KOF XV and Virtua Fighter Final Showdown?
Nice video. I see "Bikkuriman World", I think it is a Sega game in a Taito cabinet. Those cabinet looks good. I wonder if arcade CRTs are still being manufactured?
there are a few arcade places popping up in the uk with these machines in a dedicated room. plz tell me in japan you can pay £20 and have all day in there?
1 story arcade building for 1st time in 1940s, 2 story arcade building in 1950s, 3 story arcade building in 1960s, and 4 story building in 1970s for awhile and 6 story arcade building in 1990s🤪
Can anyone identify a couple shmups im not familiar with there? 1:41 to the left of Battle Bakraid - the one the dude is playing. 2:05 to the left of Truxton 2. 5:06 the shmup to the left of Raiden Fighters Jet - with the shield gauges at the bottom.
Did they allow you to film here or was it a sneak job? 😁 I'm planning on going to Tokyo next year to see some of this but it seems they're not keen on filming in arcades for some reason?
I will never understand the obsession with fighting games in these gaming centers. So many great beat em up, or shoot em up games exist, but there are always about 80% fighting games.
They had SF6 multiplayer setups when I was here last week. It looked like there was some kind of card you could use to play ranked matched with the same player profile from the home version on the arcade machine
Thanks for doing these tours of Japanese arcades. They're on the endangered series list here in America.
Thanks, reminds me of the golden age ... in the 80s and 90s .. something that we will never get back ...
Dream come true
Very nostalgia Arcade Games, it must be great to feel the Atmosphere there
I was just there earlier today. Amazing Arcade haven!
Yes! A new one! I wish to go there. Arcades these days are limited (at least in our area).
Welp... if I visit Japan, this is where Im going for a day. Battle Gear 4, MT6RR, and even a Rave Racer machine... what a dream of a place.
Beautiful.
Thanks, many of these games i playing in my cell and Xbox console
futuristic place
They have good games. I have bought some on my switch
Full of Nostalgic ❤

All those Egret cabinets are Just fantastic to see 💙💙
I could easily live there
It’s better than Bowlero and Dave and busters in 2023!!! Thanks for uploading it.
an absolute shmup or fighting game fanatics wildest dream. must visit
What an amazing arcade I'd love to go there someday👍👍🆒🆒
I wanna go there!
Love hay i want to go back.

So cool!
Great looking arcade. Wished we had one like it in the Chicago area.
These videos are great thanks so much
Interesting
Thank you!
WOW! All those CRT monitors look awesome.
Ooh so colorful and looks like a fun time !!! 😍 One day I hope I can visit places like this ☺️
Thanks nabil, great tour.
Thanks for the vid! I'm a bit concerned that there doesn't seem to be a lot of customers. I hope arcades stay open in Japan far into the future.
This was at 11:30am so kinda surprised there were people.
Keep up to good work, mate

Amazing to see that Arcade Games are still going Strong in Japan that it's still more popular there than over here in the West.

So many Egret II's in amazing condition. I just need one to go along with my Blast City and New Astro City!

This is the most beautiful and the most disturbing thing to watch at the same time 😬😂
Do you know which arcades in Tokyo carries En Eins Anastasis ? Looking forward to getting my hands on it when I visit in spring.
If we had arcades like these in America. Then more of my money would go there instead of buying more modern games.
How it should be.
It would be nice if someone talks about Gundam strong presence in te Arcade scene in Japan.

Hidden camera 😎
I saw some Kidshoryuken videos and it seems like he can film those arcades that he visited so i guess you can to
I'm sad that i don't live in Japan. I'm missing out on so many awesome arcades there
whats the game at 3:20
Hearts my heart to not see many people playing and having fun 😢
it's filmed at 11:30 am.. it's more active later in the day
I wish I can import 1 of these Arcade Machines to have all my Fighting Games on it.
KC from CA is a dealer , get a vewlix !

How much in yen did it cost to play a game? By the way great video. Thanks for doing this.
100 yen
I can hear Killer Instinct but can't see Killer Instinct.
Did I see that right, you can use your ic card to play these games? Or is it token style?
You can use both!
Really cool but i kinda prefer the arcades we have here in the west.
At least all the cabinets have their original artwork and not all white.

I genuinely can't believe someone was playing Street Fighter: The Movie: the game 🤯😂
I am reading this comme t and i am literally few meters away from this place again and heading to it.
Did you have to film it secretly? Your camera angles are not good
