Best band in the country. And if you don't know why we use a train horn, it's in honor of Leland Stanford being the father of Transcontinental Railroad. He famously hammered in the Golden Spike to complete the railroad. He built the university in honor of his late son, Leland Jr.
I would have to say I am neutral on this topic however being a USC guy I feel the need to chime in. I watched the Stanford game from beginning to end.The Cardinal accounted for 4 QB sacks,held SC to 27 yards rushing,and have beaten SC 5 of the last 6 years.Last season the OL allowed only 8 sacks all year long.I would hardly call that lucky.Now I don't care for Stanford in general, but I give credit where it's due. Stanford was the better team & are not going to be easy to for any team to beat

no i watched the USC game. STANFORD WAS FUCKING LUCKY TO WIN THAT GAME. Plus people over ranked USC. Nevada is a good team. I bet you they have one of the best offense teams in the nation. I guarantee you. They did lose to southern florida the week after but that was because southern florida is not a bad team.
