Don't quote me on that, but I think I actually remember one of them saying that the constant smiling in their more cute songs is almost harder than the expressions for their darker, more serious songs, because it's harder to keep up through the hard choreo and their tiring comeback schedules.

Being synchronized but still having individual flare is absolutely how ATEEZ rolls. Who do I usually watch? It depends on the song, but usually Hongjoong grabs my attention, which is how he became my bias. His stage presence is strong and his dance style is unique. Don't worry about picking a bias, lots of people just bias them all. Most of the rest of us have one (or 4) and the rest are wreckers. And even if you have one, you still absolutely fall for other members' performances. Special stages! I'm actually really surprised you got these music show stages in here. Most of the best stages get blocked. If you can get around it though, here are some of my faves: 2020 MAMA - Dona Eis Requiem (INCEPTION + Answer) 2021 SBS Gayo Daejeon - Deja Vu+흥+멋 (The Real) (do the 4K from INKIGAYO, it's complete) 2022 KBS Song Festival - Guerrilla 2023 MBC Music Festival - Halazia 2023 MAMA Cinematic Stage - Bouncy and Crazy Form Festival sets: POPPIA and ATEEZ ALL MOMENTS KCON 2022 LA - ICONIC half hour set (with the bonus KCON song, which is at the end although they performed it first) - This performance was so good people said they forgot they were at KCON because it felt like an ATEEZ concert. Some fandoms were genuinely upset that they upstaged other groups so much. OR [Ready for KCON?] ATEEZ | KCON STAGE.zip - which is the three KCONs from 2022, Japan, Saudi Arabia and LA and is an hour long The Real with K-Tigers and All Moments - MCountdown in France from Oct. 2023. The all moments stuck the opening performance at the end and cut out KTigers which is just rude. They were great so I recommend watching the full performance of that first. In concert the opening of the Break the Wall tour was epic - New World. They also managed to get ATEEZ and HALATEEZ to perform HALA HALA together which was VERY cool. From older stuff you might like Take Me Home. You should be able to react to their concert stuff from their channel, but all of those concerts are in Seoul. The venues are smaller and they tend to be a bit more conservative there. People used to joke about the American air, because they cut loose more outside of Korea. ALSO - shows in Asia from 2022 will feel weird because the COVID restrictions meant they could have concerts, but the audience had to mask and was banned from cheering. They used to give them castanets so all you hear is clicking. I dream of them recording their DVD in Paris or Brazil or something, where the crowds are better.
And a BIG RECOMMENDATION (even if you end up watching it on your own time): the fan/facecams of Wave and Illusion Hongjoong. Those two fancams really showcase his quirky little facial expressions and it made many people bias him! literally the first few seconds of his wave fancam and it was over for me and he was officially proclaimed bias number 3 😂
OT8 bias with ATEEZ feels like a requirement. My bias is seriously whomever is on screen. There isn't a member lacking in any criteria I think is important for an idol, so I feel like choosing a bias -- while I totally understand how it's theoretically possible, and sometimes even envy those who can choose -- is a fool's errand for me. When you've got San in your group, sometimes it can be hard to see the facial expressions of others, but there's a reason that Hong Joong is demon line, same as Seonghwa. If there hadn't been fan cams and face cams before ATEEZ, I would have said they invented them solely so you can watch the same performances 8 times to see each member's facial expressions and movements, because they are so individually spectacular. Ahh, my ATEEZ, I do love them so! Wave is indeed what they (had to) use(d) for Kingdom's intro stage, but it became a much darker version, and it's available as a standalone track, since they redid versions with Mingi on them for all the Kingdom stuff where he was absent. Aurora is so great because it's Hong Joong recognizing the sound talents of each member and making the most of them. Thank you, Captain! There have been eleventy billion performances of Wonderland, and so many different themes to those that they even went to a Kingdom-derived version for concerts now, and Seonghwa's weaponry changes up as well (heh) from the rifle he used to now swords, and it's an anthemic masterpiece of a song. I'm so glad you're enjoying your journey!
And for softer songs: Eternal Sunshine (they have the cutest stage for that, where you practically have to watch every single one of them because they walk over the stage like dinosaurs and try to scare each other, or poke each others cheek and all that sweet stuff, also pink haired seonghwa in cat ears!!), the letter, white love, be with you, with you, without you (yes, they are obsessed with us), Celebrate, Diamond (a japanese release), Dreamers, Time of Love, One day at a time, Fever, Dancing like butterfly wings, Mist, thank you, dreamy day. all just very beautiful songs 💗
these ateez reactions could last 2hrs and i would enjoy them even more. Yes cb stages are not big enough for atz's power thats why I am so happy they will perfom at Coachella and the director from their kingdom stages will work with them again for the festival !!❤❤❤
Watching Hongjoong live (1st row VIP) is an unforgetable experience. The way he makes eye contact and smiles/smirk, I was so amazed. Like he is destined to be on stage. Also Seongwa. I understand now why they are called demon line after watching them live during concert. Worth buying the ticket.

My ULT is Mingi so I always know where he is, that’s just the way it works, but when you see them live, Yunho it’s a very commanding presence, you noticed him at all times no matter what, same with the Captain, his charisma and stage presence it’s unmatched, and his facial expressions, unbelievable, so does Seongwha!!!! Honestly I think a lot of people struggle with picking a bias, and there are a lot of ATINY with more than one. I am double bias with Yeosang and San; while the rest just take turns wrecking me. I didn't pick a bias until I watched more of their behind the scenes/variety shows content and there was a moments where I'm like yep Yeo and San are my biases.
Ateez live is another level. The crowd is so insanely loud and their hype songs are so perfect in a stadium, I'm sure you can imagine. And Atiny barked. Mostly at Mingi.

This was such a special time and special album. Their first win, the first time I saw them. It was also during this comeback that I got to see them in Melbourne and attend the fan sign (it was Mingi's birthday so it was even more special). It's the last KPOP event I went to before C*vid. I've not seen anything since then (play sad violin). Also I have all the fan sign stuff over on the channel if you haven't seen it (Frankie) So glad you're FINALLY getting into my BEST BOYS.

From what I heard. The story behind Aurora is that while on their first tour. This was before the official lightstick was created. Atiny brought whatever glow sticks they had on hand. So it was just a sea of different lights in the crowd. And that’s what inspired Hongjoong to write the song. It’s also why Ateez’s official color is a rainbow.

Although I knew of them previously when they debuted and started listening to them more during Say My Name and Hala Hala, Wave was when I really dived deep into Ateez so it’s still one of my favorite title tracks and eras. there are 2 other songs on the same album as wave, illusion and aurora and they also have mvs! utopia is the japanese version but it's still amazing honestly one of my fav ateez bsides! and then dancing with butterfly wings has a vid of them dancing with fans! as far as bright ateez songs eternal sunshine is my absolute favourite! it's soooo good and the mv is pretty and cute. complete opposite of its sister title deja vu lmao. another lighter song i love is blue summer which is a japanese bside. i think i saw someone else mention it but for songs with r&b vibes i'd suggest light. it's probably my second favourite ateez song after cyberpunk. with u, if without you, the letter, one day at a time, take me home, fever - all such good songs and i know you'd like at least some of them! not too late is one that was in the guide that i think you said sounded pretty if i remember correctly! as for a bias honestly good luck lol mine are wooyoung and hongjoong but i think i cycled through nearly every member at one point and i've only been an atiny since june 😂

Wave has always been my favorite Ateez song! It's on my top 10 list! Also, my bias chose me for Ateez. I saw the teal hair in Wave and heard his voice and I was like, who is that??????? Turns out it was Yunho. I'd seen their other MVs (Pirate King is another one of my faves from them) but never got into them enough to learn members until Wave. Yunho just really stood out to me in Wave and that kickstarted my interest in learning who everyone was and watching clips and shows/interviews with them.
Wave ha just a special place in our heart because it gave them their first win and they all were bawling their eyes out (except mingi, apparently someone heard him crying in his bunk bed at night though), it just really hits differently 💗
their relay dances are so worth checking out! and their relay dance for illusion is one of my favorites for sure. would also super recommend re-watching their kingdom legendary war stages. maybe after you get through the rest of their titletracks/mvs but i think you would be able to really recognize and acknowledge how brilliant those stages were. even though the era during kingdom was a really really tough one for both ateez and atinys.. it gave us some of the most incredible and truly legendary stages of all time (imo).
When you were watching Wave dance practice, you mentioned how they were doing the same moves but with different levels. I’m no dancer nor do I really know that much about dance either, but when you say levels in dance, it means something different than what you were trying to say. I’m pretty sure you meant they were doing the same moves but each had a different style. Dance style refers to how each individual pulls off a certain move, and I find it interesting to pick out my fave styles of members in any group dance practice I watch
They were neighbors with a 7-11 if I'm not mistaken and now they share building with a dentist office and a parking garage (I'm not sure how's it's called in english). Their security has improved but could be better I think. KQ is still in the process of adapting/evolving together with Ateez.
Wave and Illusion were a vote by Atiny on which one would be the main title track. We got a snippet of the instrumentals then voted based on that, then voted with a snippet of each song, then voted with a snippet of the choreo.

I love their Songs so much. Their dance practices are awesome. They always put so much into them. And they go even harder live. Seen them in concert and was blown away. And spicy is the right word. Dont know if you have seen Cyberpunk live yet. I get when it is hard to just look at one. But I also think it is natural that your eyes go often to your bias. Or it happens for me. I try to look at all but I so often look to Seonghwa so I need rewatch to look at the others. Because they are all amazing and I like them all 😊 And there is always so much happening that you need to rewatch.😅 I think it is really nice rhat you do MV dance practice and a live performances. Thats when you see what Ateez can do. Amd that they are amazing performers. And good at singing live while dancing. Also choreos are never completely in the MV and you would miss a lot.

And a BIG RECOMMENDATION (even if you end up watching it on your own time): the fan/facecams of Wave and Illusion Hongjoong. Those two fancams really showcase his quirky little facial expressions and it made many people bias him! literally the first few seconds of his wave fancam and it was over for me and he was officially proclaimed bias number 3 😂
OT8 bias with ATEEZ feels like a requirement. My bias is seriously whomever is on screen. There isn't a member lacking in any criteria I think is important for an idol, so I feel like choosing a bias -- while I totally understand how it's theoretically possible, and sometimes even envy those who can choose -- is a fool's errand for me. When you've got San in your group, sometimes it can be hard to see the facial expressions of others, but there's a reason that Hong Joong is demon line, same as Seonghwa. If there hadn't been fan cams and face cams before ATEEZ, I would have said they invented them solely so you can watch the same performances 8 times to see each member's facial expressions and movements, because they are so individually spectacular. Ahh, my ATEEZ, I do love them so! Wave is indeed what they (had to) use(d) for Kingdom's intro stage, but it became a much darker version, and it's available as a standalone track, since they redid versions with Mingi on them for all the Kingdom stuff where he was absent. Aurora is so great because it's Hong Joong recognizing the sound talents of each member and making the most of them. Thank you, Captain! There have been eleventy billion performances of Wonderland, and so many different themes to those that they even went to a Kingdom-derived version for concerts now, and Seonghwa's weaponry changes up as well (heh) from the rifle he used to now swords, and it's an anthemic masterpiece of a song. I'm so glad you're enjoying your journey!

And for softer songs: Eternal Sunshine (they have the cutest stage for that, where you practically have to watch every single one of them because they walk over the stage like dinosaurs and try to scare each other, or poke each others cheek and all that sweet stuff, also pink haired seonghwa in cat ears!!), the letter, white love, be with you, with you, without you (yes, they are obsessed with us), Celebrate, Diamond (a japanese release), Dreamers, Time of Love, One day at a time, Fever, Dancing like butterfly wings, Mist, thank you, dreamy day. all just very beautiful songs 💗
these ateez reactions could last 2hrs and i would enjoy them even more. Yes cb stages are not big enough for atz's power thats why I am so happy they will perfom at Coachella and the director from their kingdom stages will work with them again for the festival !!❤❤❤

My ULT is Mingi so I always know where he is, that’s just the way it works, but when you see them live, Yunho it’s a very commanding presence, you noticed him at all times no matter what, same with the Captain, his charisma and stage presence it’s unmatched, and his facial expressions, unbelievable, so does Seongwha!!!! San, Yeosang, Wooyoung are a problem and Jongho it’s so cute and can just destroy your life with his vocals!!!! I can’t wait to see them again!!!!

Honestly I think a lot of people struggle with picking a bias, and there are a lot of ATINY with more than one. I am double bias with Yeosang and San; while the rest just take turns wrecking me. I didn't pick a bias until I watched more of their behind the scenes/variety shows content and there was a moments where I'm like yep Yeo and San are my biases.
Ateez live is another level. The crowd is so insanely loud and their hype songs are so perfect in a stadium, I'm sure you can imagine. And Atiny barked. Mostly at Mingi.

This was such a special time and special album. Their first win, the first time I saw them. It was also during this comeback that I got to see them in Melbourne and attend the fan sign (it was Mingi's birthday so it was even more special). It's the last KPOP event I went to before C*vid. I've not seen anything since then (play sad violin). Also I have all the fan sign stuff over on the channel if you haven't seen it (Frankie) So glad you're FINALLY getting into my BEST BOYS.

From what I heard. The story behind Aurora is that while on their first tour. This was before the official lightstick was created. Atiny brought whatever glow sticks they had on hand. So it was just a sea of different lights in the crowd. And that’s what inspired Hongjoong to write the song. It’s also why Ateez’s official color is a rainbow.
Thank you for another reaction. I adore Ateez for both their music and personalities. Although I knew of them previously when they debuted and started listening to them more during Say My Name and Hala Hala, Wave was when I really dived deep into Ateez so it’s still one of my favorite title tracks and eras. as far as bright ateez songs eternal sunshine is my absolute favourite! it's soooo good and the mv is pretty and cute. complete opposite of its sister title deja vu lmao. another lighter song i love is blue summer which is a japanese bside.
i think i saw someone else mention it but for songs with r&b vibes i'd suggest light. it's probably my second favourite ateez song after cyberpunk. with u, if without you, the letter, one day at a time, take me home, fever - all such good songs and i know you'd like at least some of them! not too late is one that was in the guide that i think you said sounded pretty if i remember correctly!

Wave has always been my favorite Ateez song! It's on my top 10 list! Also, my bias chose me for Ateez. I saw the teal hair in Wave and heard his voice and I was like, who is that??????? Turns out it was Yunho. I'd seen their other MVs (Pirate King is another one of my faves from them) but never got into them enough to learn members until Wave. Yunho just really stood out to me in Wave and that kickstarted my interest in learning who everyone was and watching clips and shows/interviews with them.
Wave ha just a special place in our heart because it gave them their first win and they all were bawling their eyes out (except mingi, apparently someone heard him crying in his bunk bed at night though), it just really hits differently 💗
The growl/bark is almost a signature thing, i feel like, i think i even heard it on a kinda mellow song on the new album 😂
their relay dances are so worth checking out! and their relay dance for illusion is one of my favorites for sure. would also super recommend re-watching their kingdom legendary war stages. maybe after you get through the rest of their titletracks/mvs but i think you would be able to really recognize and acknowledge how brilliant those stages were. even though the era during kingdom was a really really tough one for both ateez and atinys.. it gave us some of the most incredible and truly legendary stages of all time (imo).

When you were watching Wave dance practice, you mentioned how they were doing the same moves but with different levels. I’m no dancer nor do I really know that much about dance either, but when you say levels in dance, it means something different than what you were trying to say. I’m pretty sure you meant they were doing the same moves but each had a different style. Dance style refers to how each individual pulls off a certain move, and I find it interesting to pick out my fave styles of members in any group dance practice I watch
They were neighbors with a 7-11 if I'm not mistaken and now they share building with a dentist office and a parking garage (I'm not sure how's it's called in english).
Their security has improved but could be better I think. KQ is still in the process of adapting/evolving together with Ateez.
Wave and Illusion were a vote by Atiny on which one would be the main title track. We got a snippet of the instrumentals then voted based on that, then voted with a snippet of each song, then voted with a snippet of the choreo.

I get when it is hard to just look at one. But I also think it is natural that your eyes go often to your bias. Or it happens for me. I try to look at all but I so often look to Seonghwa so I need rewatch to look at the others. Because they are all amazing and I like them all 😊 And there is always so much happening that you need to rewatch.😅
I think it is really nice rhat you do MV dance practice and a live performances. Thats when you see what Ateez can do. Amd that they are amazing performers. And good at singing live while dancing. Also choreos are never completely in the MV and you would miss a lot.
