Absolutely love how you use your larger decor items as focal points. It definitely looks cleaner, calmer and neater (thanks for the tip). Im team stick vs the dried floral. Your hot coco bar is minimal and so classy, I love it. Thanks again for sharing, blessings to you and yours 😊
Thank you so much. I’m glad you enjoyed the video. Yes, I’m also team sticks too. I currently have the sticks and I try to change it but I always keep going back. Lol. I really appreciate your kind words. Many blessing to you and your loved ones too. 🤎
Lol, you have a lot of energy I've subscribed because of it. I clicked on your video because I'm looking to get some ideas of how to style a kitchen island.
I enjoyed all of your ideas but especially your styling of the corner countertop areas. I have a small kitchen with two deep corner areas that I want to style.
Hello! I appreciate you watching. Thank you…so glad you enjoyed it and was able to get some ideas. Yes, sometimes it can be a challenge to figure out what to do in those areas but I try to decorate those areas with pieces I enjoy looking at. Happy decorating! ☺️
Thank you. You know what I’m so in love with it that I still have it on my counters. I feel like when you find something you love that you can look at every day…. Why not keep decorating with it. Thank you so much for watching too. ❤️
I love the style of each palate, black, white & gray, simply elegant. The larger vases bring balance to the space & captures the beauty of each arrangement. It flows so effortlessly. 🩶🖤🤍 PS, l love the black sticks, classy!
Hello so happy to have you here!!! I’m so glad you found my channel!!! Yes, I do understand what you mean. That’s actually one of the reasons why I started my channel because I couldn’t find that many channels that showed more of my style. I was hoping there were other individuals out there that might like some of my interests and I’m so happy to share.
Aww thank you @Lakeeshag so happy you joined me over here. I’m still trying to get use to talking to this camera after a year of being on RUclips. So happy I am capturing who I am and you can see parts of my personality through my videos😊 Thank you so much for watching and again I am so happy to have you here. 🤎
I love how you styled your kitchen! I LOVE putting things in treys and stands as well. I thought I was using too many treys lol but you confirmed that I’m not, and it’s ok! Also, you should put some plants in that space behind your sink ❤ nice kitchen!!!!
Thank you so much, that’s a great idea! Do you have any suggestions on some great houseplants that might work for a person like me that doesn’t have a really good green thumb? 😂 fyi, I’ve killed a cactus 🌵 before 🤦🏾♀️
I had such a struggle buying a new coffee machine. There were so many options I couldn’t decide. In the end we went with a Jura. The coffee is excellent!! ❤❤
It is a struggle and for that very reason till this day I still have not purchased a new one. Lol I will definitely look into that one. Thank you for the recommendation.
Pretty kitchen! Love the black sticks. You are scaring me with the candle lol. Someone lit a candle on a shelf in house and it burned the shelf above. The shelves were not even that close and it was a really small candle…. I’m scarred now 😬
Thank you so much!!! Lol I did end up moving the candle. Lol I didn’t realize at the time that a lit candle there wasn’t a good idea. Lmao thanks for looking out because that would have been a hot mess for me. Lol 😂 I’m still laughing about your statement “I’m scarrred” 😂
Thank you for the video. I love the decor. Have you considered switching the outlet and switch plates to a color that blends? Fewer concerns about hiding them.
Hello @Mass Fractual! You’re welcome and thank you, glad you like the video. I would have to check to see what color options I have with the outlet covers. I may consider switching them out at some point. Thank you!
Hello @Virginia, so nice to meet you! I love your question and I hope I can help you out!😁 Before we got our kitchen redone I also had dark brown cabinets and countertops too! If you don’t mind me asking, what color scheme do you currently have in your home that you’re loving and do you know what style you like? Is it traditional, modern, eclectic, glam, farmhouse….or is it a combo of styles…..Once I know this, i can definitely tell you what I think might look nice in your space. ❤️
@Victoria…..Oh wow what a coincidence. I did teal too. I actually still have that color sprinkled throughout today. In my opinion I think that’s an awesome color to continue to incorporate because it seems like that’s vibrant for farmhouse look. I would definitely use light wood tones and white wash pottery. Bundling them together is really nice. Reference how I bundled my vases in my kitchen below: ruclips.net/video/kN5cwoQyihA/видео.html Or on my dining table: ruclips.net/video/T6fr5kdJ9wY/видео.html I also like the artificial or real pears/or artichokes to use in a bowl as an accent piece. Green moss is also nice. Play with using clear glass vases too. That will allow the colors around your area to reflect and bounce off it so you won’t have a lot of colors making the area look really busy looking. I would even try placing maybe two nice pictures of various heights on your countertop overlapping one another. It should maybe have a white or beige/tan background and has the colors you like incorporated in there. That will break up the darkness. Don’t forget you can never go wrong with adding some life to the space with a plant. 😊 Oh I forgot to ask what color are your countertops? For some reason I’m envisioning that you have dark countertops. I totally forgot to ask what color is the wall color and backsplash too?
I use knifes toaster a lot so I would like to keep them out but I still have all these oils wines fruit bowl and dish rack on the counter. I have a smaller counter section where I have the coffee and bread. It all looks ugly but I wanna keep the toaster and knifes out. Also what do I do about the dish rack. I do have a dish washer and ready to grab bowls. This video helped but not a lot 😅 not cuz of you cuz I have a lot of junk that I need easy access to
Hi Noelia, lol yes I think we all like to keep a lot of those items out. I have kids that make a lot of messes so I like to keep a lot of my extra stuff off my counters. I’m not sure how your kitchen is set up but maybe since you have a dishwasher maybe after every use you can put up the dish rack or keep those dishes in the dishwasher until you want to use the dishes. I do that all the time. I also like to section off my clean dishes and used dishes in my sink. So one side might be dirty and the other is clean. Or if you have open shelving/ floating shelves\free standing shelve that would be a good place to put those extra dishes. I wash my dishes daily so I’m always rotating things so I won’t contaminate things. Hope this helps.

Love what you've done.
Thank you so much! Glad you liked it.
Beautiful as always..but I would combine the sticks and the stems for a more textured look!
Thanks for the tip, what a great idea!🤎😉
First of all, great job! As pertains the dry flower or the sticks, I say the sticks. They are much cleaner and beautiful in your setting.

My new apartment has dark kitchen cabinets and black appliances. Any suggestions on how to brighten it up?

I like farmhouse. I haven’t had my own place in a long time so real excited. I just don’t have decorating skills lol
I won’t have a lot on counter just basics coffee maker and toaster. Microwave is built in
I like the color teal but unsure if it will go with everything else
@Victoria…..Oh wow what a coincidence. I did teal too. I actually still have that color sprinkled throughout today.
