😊 Hey guys! In this video I will be going through my first year at QMUL, and what it was like to a be a fresher. As an international student coming into the UK for the first time, there were a lot of concerns and worries that I had, as well as a lot of excitement - I address all of this in the video.

I didn't go away to school for college, I commuted to a private Accounting school so I missed out on the experience of life on campus. I love hearing people stories like yours. And I am grown married adult and still want my mom when I'm sick. I don't know if we ever grow out of that.

I always got so much more homesick when I got sick when away at college lol so true
So, so, so helpful! As someone who is (very likely) about to get rejected from Medicine at Manchester, I’m panicking about finding another course with lower entry requirements- and QMUL has a really confusing online review spectrum (everyone seems to hate it??), but it’s a London University with really nice entry requirements to bioscience degrees, so I’m trying to find some more detailed reviews. This is really really helpful!

You speak some real truths here. I did not enjoy my uni experience AT ALL due to my cohort being...not great. I went to my dream university to study my dream subject and I’ve graduated with a dream grade. But the experience itself? Meh. It was meh.
