I grew up with the first trilogy, jumping on furniture and lalala-ing his theme at the top of my lungs…. But let’s be real, Tom Holland really hasn’t missed lately, and his version of Peter is visibly growing to correspond to one that we are more familiar with, not only as comic readers, but nostalgia-filled viewers. I feel like his portrayal will just keep on getting better and better.
Andrew is the complete package imo. He gives an EXTREMELY accurate performance as Spider-Man, has the quips, the swinging, and movement, everything. Plus he's got the right body for it. He's more expressive with his body language than the other two. Plus his Peter Parker is exactly like the original comic Peter Parker. Everyone says his Peter is inaccurate just because he's not like Tobey, when really, Tobey is the inaccurate one. Peter did have an edge and an attitude in the original stuff, and wasn't just some soft-spoken punching bag. Plus both his suits were sick. The first one is my personal fave, but his second looks EXACTLY like the comic book suit. Plus he had the best chemistry with his love interest out of any of the live action spidermen. I admit his second movie sucked story-wise, but Andrew's performance and the writing for Spider-Man stayed on point
This reminds me of the people that complain about tasm2 electro design yet he is based of the ultimate variation and looks extremely accurate to what hes based on. People hate just because its not the main story or what they are used to.
Bro, he was forced to put on a fake new york accent and that just wasnt good acting. Not andrews fault too, he was badly directed. And also, early spiderman comics is pretty notorious for being shitty, steve ditko had to be taken off the project for a little bit to salvage spiderman. The amazing spider man movies is what i call guilty pleasures.

It's No Way Home where it fucked him up the most, Civil War already alludes to Uncle Ben was in the MCU and that Tom's Peter had his 'with Great Power, comes Great Responsibility' just worded differently. Tobey works well as Peter Parker, just a bit too much of a punching bag but still works and his Spider-Man was really stiff, he never quiped much and it kinda hurts the performance and when people say he's the best Spider-Man. Andrew works great as Spider-Man and his Peter Parker was fine, a little too cool but most comic accurate when it comes to his portrayal he isn't too much of a punching bag and does have the nerd in him deep down, I do like what Mark Web was going for when it came to TASM 1 having Peter be vengeful but slowly gain that responsibility and heroic spirit in him through the Crane and Bridge scenes respectfully, TASM 2 had him save Jorge from the bullies showing the down to earth part about him coming a bit full circle near the ending with Rhino as Jorge mainly stands there to fill in Spider-Man (kinda like a destruction really), showing New York City has respect and administration for Spider-Man as example from both Sam Rami and Mark Web respectively. Spider-Man 1's bridge scene, Spider-Man 2's train scene, The Amazing Spider-Man 1's Bridge scene and crane scene. Tom's Spider-Man is a tricky one to tackle, he's got Tobey's Spider-Man and Peter Parker and somewhat Andrew's Spider-Man's athletics and movement. But he's too babied, then again I just choop that up to the fact he's in the MCU, aside from the scene is Homecoming where he has to free himself from the rubble.. he doesn't have much, not even in No Way Home or Far From Home. As for the suits, Andrew's comes up as my favorite for it's homemade and uniqueness, not to mention it fits with the first movie with him looking more sinister but heroic at the same time, Tobey's is good too but it's a little too.. rubber to me at least, and he barely can move in it.
