Honor to try and tackle your panache setting Randall!! Brilliant use of entropic w/whispers! Fabulous TMNT/Elf drawing from you 😉 Wise choice of shirt color from you Rangsk to help get started with the high low. Fully understood your teaching about the entropic and whisper line across R2C2&5.
Took me a bit to put my first digit, but once I did, the puzzle completed quickly and finished in exactly 4:00. Many thanks to randall for the lovely puzzle and to Rangsk for presenting it!
The entropic line was the break-in for me, which I spotted when the puzzle first came up. I saw that the same entropy had both a German whisper high and low digit in row 2, which meant that had to be a 34 pair. And the given 1 disambiguated them, providing many digits all at once and revealing the other entropies for that line. My time today was 1:37, solver number 85.
I found the entropic coloring to be a lot more helpful for finding the break-in since it gives you 3,4 pairs in both row 2 and box 1 pretty immediately. Then you can get rid of it and switch to whisper coloring
I noticed at the beginning, you missed the entropic coloring in r2c2. That was what helped me initially with the break in for the 3,4 pair that you eventually found around 12:16
22:17. I hadn't really done these before, so it was my first real go at it. I ended up at a place with a bunch of pairs and just finally guessed at one of them to finish. I wasn't sure where I missed the logic.
The way I solved this was to color the whisper line and then put cornermarked letters into entropy lining the ABCABC pattern. This let me spot almost immediately that B was colored differently in row 2, so it had to be the middly digit.
I got the mediums pretty fast but i struggled to find the clue where you put the first 3. Needed you help for this. At first i hoped this would be my first time faster than you. :(
I guess it would be fitting to call the whisper-line digits "groß" (pronounced like "grows", meaning tall or large) and "klein" (pronounced like Calvin Klein, meaning small).

And is it just me, or does the picture resemble Michelangelo from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, with the orange sash on his head?
@@psiphiorglol yes one of the testers told me it wasn’t an elf it was clearly a ninja turtle…
What can I say? I’m better at sudoku than pixel art 😅

For once, I spotted the break in immediately, I knew it had to be the interacti0on between entropy and whispers in the top rows. 5;25 solve for me.

I kept going back and forth but coloring entropic lines is the best choice if you see the break in with the 4th cell top line

You are ... interesting.
