For those of you who don't have a router table like the one he uses (nice), I use a long ruler clamped to the piece of wood with the calculated difference between the edge of the router and the edge of the bit. Makes a nice clean cut.
Beautiful work. If this guy has took the same effort and care in the calculation and audio design than in the carpentry work, the performance should be very good.
So, he records the sound with equipment which adds its' own colouration then uploads it to RUclips which compresses the audio and finally you listen with your speakers which adds some extra colouration. No point!
How do you make that lip for the subwoofer when cutting out the whole so it’s flush with the face of the wood? I don’t have access to all those wood tools besides a dermal, electric saw, and an electric sawza as well
Great video Thankyou. I do think you should have mentioned the calculations to make the inside of the box the wright size for the speaker you used. Every speaker requires a different amount of space behind it for proper sound. I'd like to see a video about your router jig.
I watched all the videos on your channel. Do great artwork. I have four 10W 40mm 4 Ohm subwoofer to fit in two boxes. So the point to make is how many inches box I would make a 40mm One speaker. Please guide
Veneers , veneers , veneers . Everything covered by veneer looks great, it s pleasant to see that /today, when laminated boxes are everywhere, expensive ones to/. But I am not ok with bassreflex solution. This beautiful boxes needs serious reflex tube /or closed box contruction which I like/.
Man i think you forget a place for connections , i mean for input and output for switching off and on and also power , but i really enjoyed watching your video
Cabinets need to be turned for the characteristics of the drivers that will be mounted in them. Adding more "bass reflex" would simply distort the sound, keeping the box too small would add a tin like sound to whatever's playing.
@@lazyh-online4839 that makes sense, sure would beat the small speakers that come for surround sound, im just used to my old klipsch ev horn speakers from the 50's, and a pair of jbl L100's..they are nice for modern speakers tho
@@beatleme2 yeah, but if you're really good with sound design and don't mind really large speakers you can build a good set of speakers that can outperform basically anything you can buy.
@@lazyh-online4839 I agree - the old EV electro voice and many old cabs came with DIY kits and build your own ..even radio shack had books back in the day, hence where i got started - but now its all about science etc ..but them old cabs are going up in value like Klipsch and paul himself who designed without the latest gadgets ..and JBL hi-fi d131 speakers turned into the d120f for guitar amps... yeah i love my old ev cabs has t35 tweeters and ev hd mid horns. but did trade out the 15" speaker for a Altec alnico vott pa speaker ..lol..yeah i love it on the stage LOUD as i play guitar and used to being on stage and know ''live sound''
im glad im not the only one who throught that system is an excellent idea you can also use linear rails and mounts for it from ebay or wish i dont know about the mount the router is on but i need one these for my tower speaker build for sure!
The saw cuts on the backstroke. You are pushing hard on the push stroke....Let the saw cut it for you. A lot easier and cleaner cut : ) Keep up the good work.
Non capisco come farà a metterci i vari filtri e crossover visto che la cassa è praticamente chiusa. I do not understand how it will put the various filters and crossovers since the box is practically closed.
It's homemade, you speak? I think, not each good enterprise has such exellent set of the professional industry tools. For example, I have at home only a hand saw, hummer, usual drill and sand paper. Haven't you occasionally at home the steam machine for making softer the laminate and hydraulic press for fixing it? :)
give the kid a thumbs up just for that router and sawing rig! I want one of those!

Anything is possible with the right tools.
T & B IOWA, RIGHT RIGHT RIGHT!!!
Beautiful work.

You've inspired me to try iron-on hardwood laminate.
I love my sound box
I want to see it with the speakers in place and also listen to a sound test! Great job. Congrats!
So, he records the sound with equipment which adds its' own colouration then uploads it to RUclips which compresses the audio and finally you listen with your speakers which adds some extra colouration. No point!
Kid you got skills. Those speaker boxes are beautiful.
Thank you
Those boxes looks like the yamaha studio monitors 😂😂😂
Not bad at all! I would appreciate some comments though. But as far as main teaching is concern I think I got the idea! Thanks !
Work is what builds man.
that's nice setup router guide rail on plastic pallet, working outside is just as preferable as well, good job.
Looks good, I have one question, how do you get the jacks in the back and wire the speakers? It’s all glued together with no access to the inside.
The end result says it all, great design and craftsmanship
Speaker terminal cup provision?!?! Missed it!
Good workmanship and heavy material. May go down to 35Hz!
hole saw
That was relaxing af to watch

Very well done!

Don’t be a lazy fuck wit and do your own calls for the drivers you have.
That's a lovely video, thank you for making it. Your cabinets are also very beautiful.
What can formulation glue used to fix the cover sheet .., i`m quit curiously it is add by hot iron...??
Ok. Now I understand the title. Superb!!!
You deserve a thumbs up for the sawing alone ! :) GReat job ! Loved it !

Awesome video
how did you trim off those edges of the excess laminate? Excellent work.
It looks beautiful, consider you have a buyer if you were to sell it!

Very nice job !!!

Nice and simple! And plus they look hot. Is there a video with the completed speaker?

Super gut Perfekt hi-fi box und keine bass reflex port ?
I'm just about to start building some speakers, I love the finish you applied, would you be kind to let me know what oil you had used? Thank you
Is it normal PVA wood glue for the laminate?
Really nice build!
Did you calculate a length and diameter of the bass reflex tube ? Because some bassreflex tube is worse than none.
Very neat !
Good morning, my friend, congratulations for the beautiful work! What was the blade that you used to cover the boxes?
Nice job. Where can I buy a handsaw that moves that fast?
It would have been nice to show how you from the excess veener. Do you use a trim bit on the router or do you do it by hand ?
Всё супер👍👍👍 братан при всём уважение к тебе!!!,сними ролик как клеить шпон плиз

Алексей ! Лучше на его языке напиши , а то они не очень любят переводить чужие языки .
Which type of board can be used for best bass quality?
Very nice... but what about the connectors?
Muito legal amigo seu trabalho sou agora seu fã... Brasil!!!!!
Man i think you forget a place for connections , i mean for input and output for switching off and on and also power , but i really enjoyed watching your video
Looks very nice, but you haven't shown how you cut off the edges
i think ya could of made 4 cabs as they are so deep, great job, prob made them that way for more bass reflex tho..so yeah

सर आपका कार्य और अनुभव अति उत्तम है क्या आप मुझे भी तो पोस्ट बनवा कर भेज सकते हो
красивая китайская подделка )
great job!! is so relax too.. like ASMR
F & D Workshop what is the thickness of wood veneer you are using?
Muy Bonito trabajo éxitos felicidades
Хорошая работа! С меня лайк.
Just think how things would go with a miter saw and/or a table saw. That router table looks painful to setup and use over and over again.
Oak veneer was the master stroke!
Speakers enclosure size mention plz.
nice job kid your skills are great
Router master!
Miss a dialogue of what your doing and what products your using ,other than that a nice build !
beautiful work!
Very nice work and result.
good wow👍👍👍 tanks you...
What is the size of this box bro in inches reply bro...... ?
Build a Loudspeaker Box with a Router? So where is a router, speaker, crossower or you make a second part? But good work you do.
that router rails looks so interesting ,would you mind to tell us whats the maker of this system please ?

Gorgeous work
Nice work 👍🏻
nice work, where to buy the screw for speaker mounting? thanks,

Nice work. Love-Love !
EXCELENTE TRABAJO,,, BUEN EQUIPO DE TRABAJO FELICIDADES. MÉXICO CDMX
Супер, качественно , красиво, с любовью сделано
Iron the veneer first to shrink it before gluing it up.
Why not just use a flush trim bit on the router when you go to flush everything up? A handsaw seems like a lot more work.
great work mate. working without a tablesaw seems to be a hastle. what glue did you use for the veneering work?
excellent!
What is the black spray tiny bottle you are using when ironing the join of the two wood sheets? Are the wood sheets self adhesive in one side?
1. Water. 2. Wood glue and heat does the trick
The most interesting thing was not shown: how to cut out the speaker holes on the veneer. ;)
I want your hand saw, is that one those Japaneses saw or something like that? Very nice video very nice thanks. All I needed to try this myself.
🌼very good
How did you do the corners?
