When Clay holds Jax when loses his son shows Clay really did love Jax like a son. Clay couldn't deal with the pressure of leadership, but I think deep down he really loved Jax and the club. He made mistakes and got greedy, but he always had the best of intentions at heart, he just went about it the wrong way.

I’d forgotten that Stahl not only got Donna and half sack killed, murdered her atf partner for career advancement, betrayed Jax who she thought was an informant but got also got Abel kidnapped.
Yeah… she had to go. Don’t forget, she also set Gemma up for the IRÁ member she murdered (although it’s hard to sympathize with Gemma in retrospect). Gotta give it to that actress though, she was amazing at the role.

He was disloyal to the club for not blacking out his tattoos. All in all it was Opie who took the hit for everyone, the tone away from his family but he didn't rat. So technically, yes your correct the actual burning off of the tattoos was specifically for not blacking them out but when you take a step back a look at the macroscopic view the entire door is about loyalty to family, to the club, to honor, respect and yourself.

second scene where they all sit down when jax takes the gavel, compare it to the premiere of that season, table was thick but by the end, they lost 3 members (piney, miles & kozik), clay was laid up in the hospital further losing his whole charters vote of confidence, bobby was back in jail, opies future w/ the club in question, tig being the loose cannon he was awaiting to see the consequences for his actions, & juice loyalties in question as well. the only ones jax could actually trust that were at the table at that moment were happy and chibs. at that moment jax took the gavel he realized he had some rebuilding to do to samcro.

Jax" s version of Sons was about Brotherhood of the club , willing to do anything for the club , even meeting " Mr Mayhem " at the end of the series ! it also show how it wasn" t allways pretty or peacefull , a lot of the scenes made me cringe and I was an adult when this series came out ! It was true to life about The pluses and minuses in The Bikers life !
It's because most of those sounds are digitally made or previously recorded then added into the scene. And most, if not all, of the gunshots and explosions in this show we're CGI
I rarely ever see it in shows or movies. Firing a gun in an enclosed space is loud as shit, and hurts. My ears rang for hours if not days and it definitely hurt when it happened. I noticed that it is something that actors rarely depict in a scene. I think I only saw it once in The Sopranos when they whacked Patsy's twin in the car... The actor immediately held his ear and cursed after shooting him.
